Children of Gays/Lesbians

There is an interesting article in the NY Times Science section today about studies that have examined the differences between children raised by Gay or Lesbian children and those raised in a hetero enviornment. Previous studies suggested that there were not significant differences; that information is now being challenged.

 

I would be interested in any 1st person accounts that people would be willing to share. I have a number of gay/lesbian friends who are raising children and the circumstances seem quite positive, but I am also aware that one never really knows what goes on in private.
