Hey people! I have been away in traveling for the past few weeks. I had an amazing time for those you care.

I haven't read through all the recent threads...but it's so uncontionable to see how many people are still discussing whatever was written many weeks ago. Can we pick a new topic people?

Just a reminder, escort bashing is not something that should in ANY way be tolerated on here. That's completely wrong and uncalled for. This message center should be used soley for positive purposes...not to point the finger at others.

Peace.

Escort and non-escort bashing is something that we should all stay away from. Life's too short!

After some of the things you wrote in your posts here I don't know that you're the one to be telling others how to act. But maybe if you set an example by avoiding namecalling and insults from now on, other people will do the same. That would be nice.

Welcome back, and don't worry about the sourpusses. Just do what we do (i.e. ignore them). ;-)

It would be very nice. How about a contest to see who has some maturity. The next person to post something negative about another poster in this thread loses. Ready?

I've read Zack's posts, and they have been nice :-) You must be talking about the posts that were attributed to Zack. You know the ones that Zack denied sending, and the same posts that Hoo himself said could have been sent by someone else. I for one, never believed Zack said any of the things that were attributed to him.

Hi :-)

Why does it have to be considered "zinging" to express an opinion? And why can't one express an opinion and smile while they do it? Just becaue you disagree with someone does not imply you also lose good will towards them, ya know :-)

The problem, Theron, is that you seem to believe that we are all enthralled by what has long since become a yes-no argument. I don't understand why you have to rise to the bait each and every time this mouldy issue is brought up just to taunt you. Sure, it's juvenile. But so are you for falling for it.

Just because one side wants to play a broken record doesn't mean you have to make it a duet. You are never going to get an admission of fault out of curtenz/regulation. Some people are just beyond admitting that they might be mistaken.

If I am addressing this to you, it's because I think you are the most likely party to be reasonable about this and spare us any further repetitive iterations of this "debate". Please let it go before someone goes postal and takes out a contract on Zack just to put an end to this madness. ;-)

Oh? I wonder who wrote this (on June 27):

I hope you all got this out of your system, though I will admit to a certain perverse enjoyment in reading this thread after having held off until the ticker reached 50.

Hi -- BIG SMILE

I will give your suggestions some thought, I promise.

Let me ask you a question, please. What is often more powerful than the truth? I believe the answer is perception. For many of us perception = reality. Regardless of what the truth is, if you can persuade people to believe something is true, then for all practical purposes it is, for the people who believe it. This is what concerns me, every time regulation/curtenz assert this claim, and it goes unchallenged people who maybe didn't follow the thread closely may be influence to believe it is true.

So the question becomes, do you allow them to get away with it, because you are tired, or do you continue to call them on it?

One lesson I have learned: sometimes bad people win because good people don't do anything about it. What is more important, stopping because it is convenient and the easiest thing to do, or continuing on to support the truth? My personal opinion is Regulation/Curtnez pray upon people's natural desire to bring things to a conclusion in working their particulat brand of evil magic ;-) Definitely something for me to ponder.

Hugs,

Hey, Zack!

I'm so pleased to hear you had fun -- BIG SMILE. I am also really glad to see you back. There are very few escorts who contribute consistently in the Message Center, and I think the things you have contributed are positive, and look forward to reading what you write.

Me, I've been groovy, lol. Thanks for asking!

Don't be so dramatic. Nobody is getting away with anything here. Everyone who cares made up their mind long ago about who said what. I know I did. People are trying to tell you that you aren't changing anybody's mind by continuing with this. It's just annoying.

Hi :-)

But what about people who are new to the list, or who didn't follow the other thread, who are hearing the claim raised for the first time? This is the point I'm trying to make. But, I may decide to let them get away with it...I'm thinkin' about it, really, I am :-)

Theron, people new to this board probably wouldn't be hearing about this dispute now if it had been dropped when it should have been. Those threads would now be well-buried and self-contained. Instead, the poison has spread throughout the message center for possible revival at any time.

Keeping a circular argument alive serves only one purpose: keeping the circular argument alive. There will never be a resolution. Just persistent hostility that encourages new participants to run away as fast as they can.

There will be no ending this unless and until SOMEONE is adult enough to just stop responding. (Or until HooBoy steps in and shuts down one or both posters.)

Please be the adult here and just stop.

If someone makes what you think is an unfair claim or statement, you challenge him on it. If he defends his claim or statement, you respond to each of his arguments *once* and only once. Otherwise you risk simply giving him a platform to repeat the same unfair claim or statement again..., again..., and again....

As far as I am concerned, only fools or those who think their arguments are too weak to stand on their own merits insist on always having the last word. It's an insult to the readers, actually, as it assumes they are too stupid to remember your argument from one post to the next.

Having said this, I can think of one good reason for maintaining a tictac argument with one of these guys once in a while, and that's to humorously demonstrate to the other list members that your opponent is too clueless to let go until it is obvious to everyone just how juvenile he is. ;-)

Of course, you have to do it with goading and wry wit, making your point again and again with different arguments, saying something fresh and interesting each time until he is reduced to just repeating himself or responding with personal insults or attacks. You also have to put just enough of an edge in it to make him want to come back for one more flail each time, because the last one to quit is the one left holding the mud. }>

It's a cruel trick to play on someone though, and I have decided not to do it anymore. Instead I keep my little list of sourpuss perps at hand to remind me that their posts are simply not worth reading. In time, if no one reads or responds to their posts, I am convinced that they will simply go away taking their spite and ill humour with them. ;-)

Trust me. You do "the truth" more harm by reducing it to the last echo of an argument no one is paying attention to anymore.

You are fooling yourself if you think you are saving this escort from anything. It's obvious that the same person wrote his posts on the board and also the sitemails, but that's not going to stop anyone from hiring him so who cares. Most of the regulars here couldn't get a real date with a young goodlooking guy if their lives depended on it. They aren't going to believe that an escort did anything wrong because that would puncture the little fantasy world they create around people like him and deprive them of all the pleasure they get from it. As long as he doesn't shove the truth in their faces he has nothing to worry about so relax.

I see this subject is once again attracting some interest. :-)

For the record, I will note that HB has asked that Theron and I no longer use this message board to argue with each other about Zack's behavior. I will honor this request. HB responded promptly and courteously when I emailed him at Theron's insistence, and I can't repay that by ignoring his wishes. I will no longer respond to any post by Theron on this matter in this or any other thread.

As regards other posters, I will follow the exact same practice I followed in the thread that I created on this subject: I will post ONLY in response to a post that is addressed to me or that refers directly or indirectly to my statements. I request that anyone who would take my side of this argument follow the same practice. The decision whether this discussion is to continue will thus be up to other members of this site.

I trust that all here will enjoy the holiday. I certainly will. We should all take this opportunity to remember that it is because of the events this holiday commemorates that those of us in this country have the freedom to air our opinions on this or any other subject that interests us. There are many more important things in life than escorts and that is one of them.
