I think I am coming to New York in the late fall and was wondering where is a good place to stay, I rather stay a Homo friendly hotel! Is there one in like soho? or in the Village?

And the best strip place, and where do I find on the net, other than the excellent male4male escort service, is there another on the net that deals with New York City and New Jersey Escorts.

I've never actually checked out the New York hotel scene since I live less than 20 minutes from the City. There's two gay publications that are must reads for anyone who is visting the City. (And I'm not just talking about for escorts and strip joints!) Those publications are HX (http://www.hx.com) and Next (http://www.nextmagazine.net). The actual publications are much better than their websites, but you can use the websites to do your initial research since they contain some very useful information. Next's web site has a limited number of ads for escorts/models.) Time Out New York(http://www.timeoutny.com) -- which is a non-gay publication -- is also a good way to plan your trip.

 

I'm not a club person so I'm probably not the best person to offer advice about strip joints, etc. The one that gets discussed the most on the Board is The Gaiety. (I haven't been there in years.) There's also a gay club called Splash which sounds interesting.

I personaly like the W Union Square (212-253-9119) located at 201 Park Avenue South. It's a very nice hotel located downtown near the Village.

Two reliable gay hotels in the Village are Incentra on 8th Ave at Jane St and Chelsea Pines on W. 14th St. between 8th and 9th Aves.
