what do you spend on escorts per year?

Slave has raised the question that others are richer than he is to hire escorts. This has prompted the question in my mind, how much do we each spend per year? And what percentage is that of our income? I woul d rather not ask what each persons annual income is so this might be an appropriate measure. If anyone else has a better measure lets discuss it and conduct a survey!!!

That's hard for me to say because I've just started hiring escorts, but I've been hiring twice a week on average. It really isn't an additional expense as it just means I plan to have sex on an evening instead of going out to dinner, and in NYC the cost is just a tradeoff. Right now it's not food that I'd rather be eating.....

 

You can do the math. As for % I'd rather not say, but it basically comes out of what I budget for dining and entertainment.

It varies...from mid 1999 through the end of 2000...almost $63,000 including hotel rooms and meals and almost exclusively overnight engagements. This year it will probably be in the neighborhood of $7,000 or so. During the earlier period I was just getting involved in m4m activity and I consider the funds expended as "postgraduate education".

I would like to say that this kind of thing A. Just might attract some people who wish to brag by claiming to do more than they really do. B. Is not probably going to attract many of those people who will be willing to lay claim to only one or two escorts per year for a total of, just joking, $150. C. A lot of those people not bragging are going to be thought of by group B to be bragging anyway. D. You don't seem to be making any allowance on which part of the world/country the person anwering you lives in. That can have a great bearing on how much each session will cost.

I couldn't tell you how much I spend. Honestly. I don't keep track of it.

 

I do know I can't put a "budget" on it at all. I go through periods of hiring often followed by a period of not hiring at all. Often, in the middle of an "off" phase, I'll hire because a uniques opportunity arises. (Somebody comes through town, I travel on business, whatever.)

 

Right now, for instance, my libido is at an all time low. (Think it's because of the lousy weather we've had this spring.) I'm not hiring at all. But when I found out one of my favorites is coming to town next week I booked time immediately. That'll probably kick-start another spree.

It depends on how you define "spend", as Bill Clinton might say. I average about $2000 per year on escorts' fees, but if you factor in money spent on travel and hotels, which might not have been spent without the lure of sex, it's probably more like $4000. That's more than ten percent of my after-tax income, and when I put it down frankly in black and white like this, it makes me wonder if it is really worth it (though I know people who spend as much on porn, which seems much less worthwhile, since it doesn't produce any memories).

During the last 12 months, it's been about $6,000 in escort fees and another $3,000 for meals, show tickets, etc. All but a few hundred dollars has been with the same escort.

 

In addition I spent $1,000 or so for private dances at the strip clubs in Montreal and Toronto.

 

However, the amount has been considerably higher in the past -- before I retired. It got pretty outrageous in the years that I vacationed in Thailand.

I hadn't added it up before, but, for me, about $7000 so far this year for six different escorts, with almost half of that sum going to one guy that I particularly like. Since he lives more than 200 miles away from me, there are travel expences involved, too.

 

I've been hiring escorts for less than two years, so I'm still in my discovery phase and I've enjoyed myself totally. No regrets.

I'm almost afraid to calculate it...and I'll have to figure out the foreign exchange rate too. :-) I guess if we're strictly talking escorts it's probably around $3000 or so. I have months where I don't hire and then I'll go on a binge. If you want to include the cost of airfare, etc when I go to Toronto to have fun then it's a good bit higher than that.

For me I have about 4 or 5 a month which translates in NYC with tips to about $1500 a month which is about $18k a year. I have obsessive phases where I see one guy really often- 3 times in the month- I basically become responsable for their rent and this last about 3 months and then I get really bored and stop with them cold turkey. They really start to become unattractive and annoying- its really wierd. I will occassionally bring them back years later for 1 or twice in a year but no more. Then I intermittantly try new meat. I've always wanted to ask that question! On an "average" year I guess I spend around $1,500 and that doesn't include hotel or travel, so we're probably talking $2,000 to $2,500 a year. This summer I'm splurging and I'll be paying my credit card down for the rest of the year to pay for it. I guess I'll be spending $3,100 on three hunks, not including hotels and travel. I guess everything included it's more like $3,800.

 

Escorts make it possible for me to make my fantasies come true...at least for a few days. In a small town there's not too much action, that is, gay individuals who you can be intimate with.

 

I wish I had the money to hook up with some of those very "hot" expensive guys when ever I wanted to. That's the main reason I want to win the lottery. Fortunately, there are a decent number of hunky guys who keep their rates at a level that's affordable to middle class guys, like me.

 

I think the high priced guys should have "sales" and cut thier rates from time to time, so that some of us "underprivileged" individuals could get a chance to experience their talents. No, I'm not being serious...though it would be nice.
