I'm going to Miami next month and wondered if anyone has any good tips for nightlife. Are there any strip clubs? Or clubs with strippers? I heard Warsaw Ballroom used to have an amateur strip night. IS that still open? ALso I'm going to Key West and am staying at Equator. Has anyone else been?

Warsaw closed and reopened and then closed again.

There's the old favorite of "Boardwalk" (highly recommended and open 23 hours a day)

Twist has dancers on some nights (although for the life of me, can't remember when) and Score is pretty good.

Level on a Friday night is pretty hot but can be really difficult to get in. croBar on Sunday is amazing too.

Lola is good on Tuesday night too but its more of a mixed crowd than straight

Are you looking for a bar or a club? Or just strippers? What kind of stuff do you like?

I live here in South Beach and hit the town three or four times a week so I have a fountain of knowledge :) if you need more

advice.

In my opinion Miami is a wasteland when it comes to stripper bars if you are looking erotic scenery and take out services. The Boardwalk is really the only serious stripper bar but it is a long drive up Collins, the guys are mostly twinks, and the ambience sucks. My advise is to check out the escort ads, the reviews here on M4M (including some of my own reviews) and to order IN. Miami is blessed with some of the sexiest guys, and many are available on sites. Check out Jamie, Alex Andrew, Andy (aka Carlos), Danny, and on it goes.

In Key West there is a poorly designed bar on Duval next to Diva's called Dudes with 5 or 6 strippers. Across the street there is Bourbon Street Bar, and there is more muscle dancing for bucks on the bar there. According to all the reviews, Cupid's is a must but it is up in West Palm Beach. Tell us if you go there.

Sorry Johnny I have to disagree with you, well partialy anyway.

The Boardwalk is kind of "divey". However, I do not agree that the men are mostly twinks. On all the various nights I have gone they have had a fairly good vaariety of men, including several South American guys (this being Miami and all).

There is also Lords in Ft. Laud. You have to hit this club right, butI have found that Saturdaynights they usaly have a few incredible men.

I have heard of LORDs in Ft Laud but I would really like to know more about it. The incredible Alex Andrew, who danced at the Gaiety last week, is apparently a regular at Lords. Please tell us more about this place, its setup, and the dancers. Sounds good.

Otherwise, I still stand by my current view that it is better to order in when in Miami. The guys are tremendous in Miami, the best in the States, the problem is there are no really good clubs to check them out in. I stand by that.

Oh great now you wat me to describe the set up! I am soooo bad at that<g>

Lords has a big box shaped bar in the middle of the room with seating all around it. Then there is seating along the walls as well were it is a bit darker. There is also an alcove off to one side that has a few tables.

However, it doesn't seem to matter where you sit, the dancers are very friendly and most willget very up close and personal.

I have to say I am really surprised by your thoughts on the Boardwalk. maybe I grwew up sheltered so think differently but I love the palce. Whenever I have gone there I have found the dancers to get very up close and personal. I suppose to each his own so to speak!

I agree and they are sometimes aggressive in suggesting private sessions.>

The dancers at Boardwalk are somewhat younger than many of Lords dancers. They are more playful in the bar itself. That probably had to do with the difference in police enforcement between Lauderdale and Miami. (lauderdale will once or twice annually raid and arrest dancers and patrons..both gay and str8 clubs)

Johnny's is another lauderdale place very young and twinky style dancers...and kind of standoffish..management is very aggressive about supervising dancer's activities on stage and in bar area.

Cupids is another story...large modern club cover charge..and

fully nude dancers. Private rooms available. Surroundings and furnishing are very comfortable. Table dances are VERY expensive. $20 per song. and songs can be short..A lot of dancers are from Toronto/Montreal/Gaiety circuit. Beautiful, musclular, hung, aggressive and money hungry. Room is pretty brightly lit for a night club(reminded me of a country club bar). Best bet...tip dancers while onstage..theyre nude and hard...avoid lap dances.. and reserve a room early. I didnt and regret it. There is always a risk too that you may not always get what is promised...but there were lots of dancers..so bring plenty of money. it is palm beach after all

good luck

all in all Boardwalk is best bet..

This is my problem with Cupids. I am by no means wealthy, so going to these clubs can be costly in and of itself. When I go to a club I usally go with about $200.00 to spend (which is why I don't go all that often). For $20.00 bucks you can get a dancer at Lords or Boardwalk to spend at least 10 minutes with you (assuming you spread the 20 out over that time).

I suppose I also don't understand the fact of spending the amount of money you spend at Cupids for a private room then the dancers time. For about the same amount you can hire an escort to come to you!

Which is not to say that I don't like Cupids, I do. Just from a cost point of view it is beyond my means in general. now if I was someone with the cash to spend I would probably enjoy it more.

I have got to say that Johnny's was one of the most disappointing clubs I've ever been. I can understand the whole "twink" thing, I guess, although I am not a fan of it. I just am not down with child porn which is what I felt like in there.

The models collectively weighed a good fifty pounds and none of them looked happy to be there. As far as dancing, all they did was kind of stand there and sway half assed to the music. Then when they came around looking for bucks, they just stood there regardless of the fact that I wasn't interested. I am a strict believer in tipping only if I'm interested. And I wasn't.

I'm in my mid-twenties and reasonably attractive and felt like a sick dirty old man when I went there.

There used to be a bar that was run a few doors down from Boardwalk called "Friends" that was very similar to Johnny's. And I got the same feeling there too.

Guess its me. I don't know.

I guess the appeal is that for $150 u get the room (50 to club and 100 to dancer) and you don't have to bring an escort home or venture into his home. The table dances at 20 per song were short and non-nude. This may change later in the evening but I didn't hang around to find out. My question is what happens in the booths..and are there additional charges?

And being the locale of Palm Beach, these guys probably get 1000 to 2000 for an overnight

And the tipping expectations were pretty high.

they seemed insulted by any tip less than $20

Management seemed hostile also

JS,

I saw Alex Andrew at Lords two weeks ago (I just happened to see his pic at Musclehunks the other day and recognized him). He told me he usually dances at Lords on Thursdays and Saturdays. I don't know if he's there this week or not, but I'm gonna try to stop by this Saturday. The night I saw him, he was quite personable. I think he looks a little shorter in person, maybe about 5'8"-9", than his pictures suggest, but very handsome and nice body...

When I was there (about wo months ago) I paid a little more -- I think it was $175 incl. the $50 for the booth -- but there were no additional charges

Actually, no. One of the better offered an overnight for $300 ... but how much time is for that after closing time anyway?
