I've paid anywhere from $60 to over $300, and it's been my experience that there is no relationship between the price paid and the satisfaction of the session. There are several really hot guys in the Miami area charging around $100. I've even had a few who have seen me regularly for less (regularly for me is maybe once a month)....

Being that I used to live in the Miami area, that is not fair for you to speak of that area's prices as "the norm" for all of the industry. Miami Beach is still regarded as one of the top vacation spots for Gay tourism, and I can vouge for the fact that you would, in general, be able to find an equally hot experience for free if you wanted because of the quality of guys that are just plain HORNY. Any escorts from that area would only hurt themselves by trying to charge more than what someone would be willing to pay in order to avoid spending maybe 30-45 minutes, either online chatting or going to Twist. Anyway, I know there are guys making very good money down there, but on the whole, it is not a thriving market for escorts to earn a successful living for a long time. Vacationing escorts and "new" guys to the beach seem to be the popular choice, but on SoBe there is always someone hotter just around the corner.

I hope my reply's purpose, not a person attack by any means, is taken the right way.

I would have to agree with you about the relationship between price and quality -- it is uncertain at best. I'm aware that there are guys in Miami and elsewhere in Florida charging less than $200 who are just fine, but I don't know of anyone in the Miami area for around $100. Care to mention any names?

HG..... With all due respect, Sir. I certainly know the difference between making $12.50 an hour and $2,500 an hour. I also know the difference between the local Burger King KID and Mr. Silvers!!!!!!

I happen to be a very close friend of Brett's and a former Client. From the first time I retained his services, I knew there was something different about this Gentleman. I know this business inside and out and I know the difference between a "service" attendent and a Companion. I shop at only the best store for my wardrobe. Sometimes I am paying for a NAME and realize I could have done just as well at K-mart when it came to the quality. I also realize that most times I can't find the quality I want at K-mart and I learn my lession. One nice thing about shoping at Bergdorf's is that on occasion, you hit a sale by your favoriate supplier!!!!..... If you don't get my drift, I mean if you see a specific escort on a regular basis you tend to get "specials". When I was seeing Brett professionally, we would sit down at the beginning of the Month and discuss our needs and budgets and schedules for the month, arrive at a fee and that was that. I did not see this MAN by the hour.... I am not an "hour" kind of guy and with Brett I was more of a week or month kind of guy. I also did this with Matt/Vancouver. I saw Matt on such a regular basis that we just sort of mapped out the schedule a month at a time. So I simply wanted to clarify my point. I agree with Brett, A title, like "Porn Star" means nothing if they can't deliver. And I must admit, that is usually the case (except for Michael Brandon). I can not honestly say I was anymore "inspired" by a guy with video credits then a guy without. And usually they were a disapointment.... thats it for now.

I can think of at least six guys I've seen within the last six months that charge around $100. Five of them advertise in one of the local gay rags and the other advertises off a website. As none of them mention their rates in their advertisements, I'm reluctant to name names. Suffice it say, they are out there. And this doesn't even include the guys available off the internet (ok, AOL specifically). My point (which I'm probably not making very well) is that it's been my experience (in South Florida as well as other areas of the country I've lived) that there is no concensus as to what a fair price should be.
