And, of course, aside from William Safire, you provide an invaluable compendium of literary expertise and eloquence to this site. Who else could provide the linguistic sleuthing to uncover the "it's/its" and "who's/whose" of various posters? Armed only with E. B. White's Manual of Style and an OED, you have unlocked the identities of many malicious contributors.

 

Sadly, my post is not as eloquent as yours. But I will continue to enjoy your contributions.
