I can see protecting the xxx stuff with an avs, but everything else should be made available to every potential customer. I for one would look no further if I had to subscribe to an avs just to check out a potential date. (Rick Munroe, who is arguably one of the one popular escorts on this site doesn't have a web site -- although I believe that he's currently working on one -- stated either in one of his posts or during his chat that the only place that he advertises is http://www.escorts4you.com. His ad shows him from his chest to his nose and includes his contact information, stats, and what he is into. The xxx stuff is protected with an avs. (That seems to be the policy of Escorts4you.) His ad and reviews (which include the picture from his ad and a bare butt shot) seem to generate more than enough interest in him. There's something to be said about that low keyed approach to doing business.)

I saw a website for an escort called Niko (if I recall correctly), who chose to include a picture of his three-year-old son on the site.

 

For me, this was too much -- just my opinion.

As a client I won't even bother with a pay site or one that requires a code. The reason is the most basic of all. I pay for what I know I can get. Not what I don't know. I avoid those adult check/mancheck/ugs sites like a plague ( which I think they are ).

 

If an escort has a page that has GOOD photos, and GOOD information ( Including rates, and bot/top/vers ). I am more apt to hire them. Also correct information.. up to date phone # or email address. If I email I expect a prompt ( no more than 48 hour reply )

 

What makes me avoid an escort because of his site ( besides the above mentioned ). Any reference to sending a photo first. I find it a huge insult. Also any reference to race or age. Anyone who has these conditions shouldn't bother trying to be an escort.

 

Keep it provocative also I love sexy shots not ones of a dick or a hole, ones that evoke a sexual attitude. Hard-ons are not necessary. For what it's worth, I HATE websites that require an AVS to review some or all of the picture gallery. It is not a question of being able to afford joining an AVS but there are so many of them, I certainly don't want to join them all. Also, I really object to have to go through that. If there is an AVS, I just leave.

I think Michael Vincenzo has a very nice website, for example. Clean, well structured, easy to get around, hot pictures, all the info you need.

I just visited an escort's web site. It hijacked my computer by opening window after window of links. The only way that I could stop it was to shut off my computer. Talk about annoying. I won't be visting that site again. The escort also lost me as a potential client. Fortunately, Matt's web site is very user friendly. Every escort should follow his example.
