I have just joined the above and read with interest a number of reviews where the escort has been met on a chat site. Is there a specific site for escorts or is it "pot luck" that you find them.

In the "town square", "started by aol members", section of the chat area there are literally hundreds of chat rooms. The most obvious is escort m4m, and there may be an escort m4m2 depending. There are also rooms for every major geographical area and 3 or 4 rooms at prime times for the major metropolitan areas newyorkm4m, lam4m, etc. Also, it isn't necessary to actually enter the chat room to talk to an escort. If the room is full(23 people in room) simply click on "who's chatting" to find out who's in the room, you can click on their name to get their member profile to get some pertinent details and/or IM them. Another technique, is to find a few who interest you from the reviews here, and add their screennames to your buddy lists. That way you know when they are online and can IM and set something up or just chat and get a feel for them. However, the top guys here are very busy and don't have a lot of time for idle chit chat.

You can also "search AOL member directory" under the People pull down menu. Choose "advanced search" and just plug the work "escort" into the keyword line, select "male" and put your state or city (and any variations separted by "or") in the location blank, and click on the box at the bottom that says something "return members currently online only" and then serach. You'll see who's online and can check their profiles. You can also leave the box at the bottom unchecked to see a complete list of escorts whether they're online or not. Unfortunately the morons at AOL limit any search to 100 results which is too small if you live in a big metro area with lots of escorts. The limit used to be 250, but was reduced for sme reason a couple of years ago. They never answered me when I asked why it was reduced.
