NEW FEATURES

Daddy has added some new features that are a major improvement on the Message Center.

 

I will be writing an FAQ if I get time, but the changes are really simple.

 

Just click on CONFERENCES above --look up there ---

 

Then, you'll see a small phrase in the top left hand corner that says IMPORTANT, READ ME.

 

Click on that and you'll be able to read about some of the changes.

 

Here are things you can do now:

 

You can enable or disable:

 

* people directly emailing you to your personal mailbox

 

* people leaving you mail here in the message center that only you can see

 

* As always adjusting your profile/preferences, etc. This is especially important for escorts to take advantage of particularly those who are suckered by the Nazis at AOL.

 

*Your IP address is still private

 

*I do not have your password - all I can see is ********

 

*You can allow people to know as much or as little about yourself as you choose. Some people do not mind, some just want to be totally anonymous, but the choice is up to you.

 

If you have any questions, read the M4M FAQ and if you don't find the answer to your question, then email me. Do not expect an answer immediately. I will not have the Message Center FAQ ready until tomorrow because it is late and I do not have time to write it tonight.

 

When there is a flame next to a thread, it means it's a hot topic with more than 20 or so answers.

 

If you do not use your account within 60 days, you will automatically be cancelled.

IMPORTANT - READ THIS!

 

PLEASE REVIEW YOUR PROFILE NOW. MOST OF YOUR WOULD PREFER TO "HIDE YOUR EMAIL"...THE DEFAULT FOR THIS NEW FEATURE IS "NO" AND DADDY CAN'T CHANGE IT. HERE'S HOW:

 

We've upgraded the Message Center software and we've got a lot more feature. Please check to make sure your profile is set according to your likes/dislikes.

 

1) Click "User" Icon in lobby at top of page

2) Click "Modify your profile..."

3) Click "Submit"

 

Set your options and when done, click "Submit Changes" at the bottom of the page.

Maybe I'm just blind and some of you can point me in the right direction but my favorite feature seems to have been deleted from the message center. There used to be a selection that would only display those posts that were new or had a new response in the past 3 days. For someone who checks in here everyday that was a BIG benefit. The only thing similar today is an icon but that gives all the posts in the last 3 months or so.....way to many pages to scan. Am I missing this old link? Or can you reinstate this feature. Thanks.

I just tried it and it worked ok....Try doing....It's possible that the timestamps went away as a apart of the upgrade.

 

Try doing a "mark all" when you there and see if it remembers from there on.

I've used that same link all the time myself. I agree its a valuable link. Fortunately, I'd bookmarked the link so I'd always go directly to that page. A similar occurence happened to me when HooBoy adopted the new color scheme ;-), but what really happened was that the browser cookie that id'd me went stale, and I had to log in again.

 

However, once I did log in again, it appeared that its estimation of what I had seen and mine were pretty comparable.

 

There are a couple of reminders to determine whether you are logged in or not: just above the list of conferences there's a line on the right hand side that gives the date and says - Logged on as <whoever> If you're not logged on, it will say something else and the icon that shows a lock at the left of the row of icons will be open and the heading underneath will say Login instead of Logout.

I think NASAguy is talking about an icon at the top of the "Lobby", which says "Read Now". Maybe you could do us a favor, and try it instead of your bookmark, and tell us if actually does the same thing?
