Given that race, size, shape, etc. are all factors which influence sexual attraction, what is the logic of refusing to serve clients who have HIV? In these times, we all know how to avoid contracting this virus, so what logical explanation is there to discriminate in this fashion? I just thought I would throw this in with all the other discrimination topics.

Escorts should refuse clients with HIV if the escort is negative. Safe sex is not safe, only safer and there are many accidents which can happen even if they are trying to be safe. I am not an escort, but I would not knowingly have sex with someone whom I knew to be positive. Even if I decided to do so, I would have a difficult time getting turned on. I would spend the time worrying about an accidental exchange of fluids.

I'm in this profession by choice, and along with that choice, I've accepted a certain level of risk. This may not be an acceptable level of risk for you, or for many others, but it is a descision I made, and one I am comfortable with.

If you choose not to have sex with someone after they disclose that they are positive, that is your choice, I don't fault you. You are protecting yourself the only way you know how, but also realize that there are probably lots of others whom you've engaged in sexual practices with, who have not been as open and honest about their status.

Always play safe regardless.

One final point, HIV is one of the most difficult viruses to transmit, there are far more easier things to catch, like Hepatitis, and many other nasties.

The only way to avoid everything is to completly abstain from all contact with anything and everyone, use your brain, assess the risk, make your descision, have some fun. Just make a smart informed descision, read up on what is now known about HIV and other sexually transmitted diseases.

Someone who knows their HIV status to be positive may actually be SAFER to play with than someone who "thinks" they are negative. The HIV positive person is hopefully on drugs and has brought their viral load down to "undetectable". The person who "thinks" he is HIV negative from his last test 6 months ago may have just recently infected himself and his viral load is high thus posing a greater risk to his "playmates".

I cannot help myself but react to this thread. But Matt's point is well taken, by the way kid...are you still in business because it seems that I see you in all threads making comments and have all the time in the world to do this. Anyway, if you are to consider everyone that you fuck is HIV positive then that is the best way to keep yourself from ever forgetting to be safe. I guess, we don't know or possibly have no idea how an infected person looks like especially if they just got infected. Same token, this kind of sex is as risky as inviting a stranger inside your own home. Jeffrey Dahmer didn't look a bit monstrous...and I heard that his dick is a niner... how can you say that being HIV positive makes one look different. If an escort just keeps his clietele to the obvious HIV negative crowd, then so be it. It does make this world a safer place.

The "look" of "HIV positive" has changed so much over the last 10 years. For many a positive HIV status gives them disability income, countless hours to go to the gym, steroid injections, zero body fat from Crixivan (one component of their "cocktail"), and then end up "buffed and beautiful". I know a few HIV positive people who walk into a bar, take off their shirts and the whole bar comes running. As the last two messages have said, treat everyone as if they could be infected.

Well, this is a little personal, but I think it's important. For the dozens of times I have been with Matt, He IS a man of his word. And he speaks the truth. I can recall only one incident where we had a "moment" that could have been less than safe.... and Matt kept his word and we stopped. It was probably one of the sweetest moments I can recall with him. TO care that much for our well being, took a man of intregrity.

Seriously, I agree, this was a pretty good topic, and I guess part of the reason that threads get hijacked in favor of 'THE CULT OF MATT' : ) is because I am one of very few escorts who post here regularly. Why do other escorts not post?

Well, it's not often I get an invitation like that. My guess is that the thread died a natural death because Matt spoke so well about the subject and there wasn't much else to be said. Except for the other opinion, which I could fault, but I was glad the person contributed his viewpoint.
