Whatever the name is, it has to be clear to someone searching for a site like this what the site is like, and discourage someone searching for something totally different (Rentboy was a superb choice for that). I am surprised that no one has suggested the obvious: the-men's-room. However, that would seem to exclude members like Fresh Fluff. I am wracking my brain trying to think of something accurate and easy to remember.

I like “the men’s room”

I think the benefit of a name that clearly describes the purpose of the site is worth the downside of excluding a few female members.

I like “men’s room” but wonder if it makes people think of a cruising site rather than a place to discuss escorts?

Cutoff time for submissions is later today (Saturday) 1PM ET. The moderators will be meeting at 2PM with this being one of many topics on our agenda.

If you would like a name to be considered, please make sure it’s posted.

I love all of the suggestions and the creativity shown by our members. Once we’ve narrowed the selection, I’ll be creating a post for members to cast their votes.

More details to come on voting rules, but I’m anticipating voting being open to all forum members with a valid account in good standing. (You’re not able to see the site much less vote if you’re on time out.)  I still need to discuss with the moderators how long we will leave voting open for, but I’m expecting it will be either 1 or 2 weeks.

Thank you all for your interest and participation!!

Very correct.

He was fiercely private and not prone to trusting a large group of people.

NewHooReview

brings along legacy but moves forward into the future. Not gender specific. Doesn’t refer to anything that might be confused with mainstream topics:

ie. some random religious, children’s, legal or hook up site… and it isn’t overtly sexual in nature, (it’s identifiable but, not blatantly obvious)~ Doesn’t draw unwanted attention.
Holds familiarity and consistency with alumni, emeritus and new members and still provides a familiarity around the country to Hooville Parties~
It provides affirmation of a “brand” of sorts… easy logos for clothing, gay events, parties… has a ring to it and easy to market.

Doesn’t sound threatening or degrading… (is specific while remaining neutral).

Has easy monogram: NHR~

For marketing, it’s easy and flexible to apply g rated or more provocative images…

It’s not taken…
