Are Clients Booking?

To masseurs and providers, Are clients booking at pre-panemic levels now that they are vaccinated? Or do you find it slower and that clients are still flakey?

To assume that bookings (and I mean more so “requests” for bookings) ever slowed down substantially because of the pandemic is the kicker.

I honestly don't feel it has anything to do with it, tbh. Gay men are going to be gay men. You'll always have the bullshit mother fuckers, and then you have the serious. I don't even feel the pandemic is necessarily any major timeline in this biz. 

Having been around since 2008, There's actually other cosmic factors that have attributed to things being slower and noncommittal including:

Hookup apps

Rates not being displayed on Rentmen

Surge in housing/rent in many cities

Fewer escort websites

Political issues

City differences 

More providers

These alone have affected the biz even before the pandemic. I remember places like Salt Lake City and Phoenix used to be quite fun and reliable. But now, they're just unreliable wastelands. However, there's also other cities, like small state capitol college towns that used to be very quiet...and now they are booming. Last week in a city I was visiting, I had a client or 2 every day from Monday thru Thursday. I came back to Saint Louis, only had 1 client and whole bunch of flakes, Monday thru Thursday.

Goes to show, results can vary in as little as 300-500 miles away.

Well, I can +1 that. I mean there was a period of slow during the initial stage of lockdown, but I was posting last year that there were still more bookings than usual because people had unemployment, time off, etc. 

However, I feel we're in this weird space...and I was telling a client yesterday: there's a ton of requests for bookings, but the quality and turnover is the issue. That's exactly why I moved to taking my nude pics to private.

Ah I love a guy who keeps accurate stats of his work. I’ve records from every client I’ve seen since I started (only initials, date, location, rate, preferences). Data is the new oil. All GDPR compliant of course.

I’m booking the 350s… but not the 400s who require Uber to and fro. It’s just crazy to justify paying someone not willing to take the MTA for a few stops.

That's post covid New York city prices which I haven't quite fully accepted. I'm balking even 350, unless its a 10/10 in all aspects and is a sure hit ( previous hire or comes with referrals as well as glowing reviews) In my mind, I can just hire when I travel ( which thankfully @jetlow is back on a jet plane at least once a month now) , at much lower rates, with the convenience of a hotel also while on the road.  400 is a non starter even without the uber. 

I don't care how hot he is. NO. 

Its nice that the richer dadies can afford this, I'm still saving for my retirement.

And also here in the UK, apart from a couple or so who must have been genuinely terrified, most escorts were continuing to meet clients all throughout the pandemic.

During the pandemic, I kept reading story after story about how providers (only 1 article was about a male; the others were about females) were struggling and turning to OF.
