NYC Hotels?

Hey all,

For new yorkers: Is there a hotel in Manhattan (chelsea/hudson/HK/midtown) that's friendly to visitors? I don't want to come down to bring trade up because they need a keycard or whatever. Anyone can recommend a hotel friendly to hookups?

I think it’s worth remembering @savantsav that hotel staff have seen it all. Bear in mind there’s a trade off between security and strangers having easy access to  your hotel room.

I wouldn’t worry about Reception. So what if they have to phone you to ask if you will collect your visitor? Or tell them to disclose your room number and send him to your room?

All that said, any of the big hotels in MidTown will be fine.

I don't care about them judging haha I meant more about the convenience of it all. If I want to host a pump and dump then I would have to call reception several times an hour...

The Paul is definitely not a fancy place, nor is it the type of hotel I’d choose to spend my vacation at.  But it’s decent, and one of the few hotels left in NYC that doesn’t require a keycard to use the elevators.  That makes it perfect for the debauchery that the original poster is looking for.
