Weed and sex..... any recommendations?

Heading to Great Barrington tomorrow for a weed run.

Trying to get more educated and enjoy it more.... I do love weed with sex.

Any advice on Sativa vs Indica vs Hybrids?  Bud vs Vapes vs Concentrates?  Edibles are cool but so risky because harder to gauge THC %s.

Definitely going to try the THC infused lube.... that sounds... amazing!

Sativa (THC) dominant if you want wild sex and Mix of Sativa (THC 80%) Indica (20%) if you want more romantic/relaxed sex.

I like to buy flowers mostly because I know what I'm getting, which is not always the case with pre-rolls. I'm wary of vapes - too much chemicals.

Concentrates (tinctures) are good too as long as you know that they kick-in sometimes after 1h, and depending on how much you took the high can last 6 hrs.

Don't go crazy buying edibles because it's tricky to know how much you're eating. I find that gummy bears (of the same batch) give me more control on that.

THC infused lube sounds like a great idea for a long session. Never found it online. Let us know how it goes.

I'm more intrigued by the store in Great Barrington - https://letsrebelle.com/.  Also currently staying in northern CT and MA is a short drive.  I don't think NY has recreational yet.

@lonely_john - Thank you!  That is some of the most comprehensive advice I have gotten!  I agree the bud is best, but I live in an apartment with a super uptight management company and I am worried about the smoke smell.  They apparently have terminated leases over weed.

Probably go for vapes and gummies.  Rebelle looks like they have quality vapes.

Maybe tinctures are the way to go?

Thank you again for the advice!

I would suggest researching on the long-term dangers of vaping (pens). Actually, smoking is a lot less harmful than vaping. If you have a balcony or a window to avoid smoke or smell within the apartment you shouldn't have any problems.

I definitely prefer tinctures (oils) over gummies because you didn't see how they were prepared or how strong they are. Buy just a few to give them a try and ask if 1 gummy bear is equivalent to 1 joint so you have an idea of the strength of the high you will experience 2 hrs later after swallowing one.

Because you will ask them for vaping they will try to sell you vaping machines like the PAX3, avoid them at all costs. Very low value for their cost. I'm still trying to get rid off it.

Edibles in California are all marked with mg of THC and/or CBD, (and strain if known) I buy flower and make my own green dragon (Everclear) a few drops in 2oz waterimage.gif.dcfcb213414d9b462ec3458ce6796aab.gif

BudTenders at your favorite dispensary can be helpful. Tell them your avg usage and your expectations about duration and such. I find Sativa more social, vs. Indica more dozey (escort vs massage 🤔…? ) Hybrids always a roll of the dice, all depends on how you roll

When I am playing, I like Sativa with a THC count of 22 or above.  I've been purchasing some great pre rolls but suddenly remember that I should be getting buds, for I have three nice glass pipes as well as a great device for grinding it.

The only edibles that I prefer are gummies that come in a container of 10-- each possessing ten grams of THC.  ...take two and within 45 mins. to an hour, I'm ready.

...haven't tried vapes or concentrates and don't think I will.

Just a side note to the beginners reading this…..this is WAY too much for you.

Take 1/2 of a 10 mg gummy and see how you feel. Wait at least 30 minutes
before you even consider taking more. An hour is even better. Then,
you can think about taking the other 1/2….but I’d still advise against it.

Just trying to save you from a potentially very unpleasant experience.
I’m guessing @Axiom2001 is an experienced user.

I like flowers - just because they are what I know best.   I have had amazing experiences with edibles provided by others, but I didn't know what they were. I also like vaping, but, again, I was being hosted so I don't know what strain it was.

I have two different strains that I love for sex:  Wedding Crasher and Jet Fuel.

Just bumping on this in case anybody has any advice. Thanks!!

If you’re a bottom looking to relax more, then indica or hybrid is better. If you’re a top, then sativa or hybrid. But it’s all down to personal choice and how you react to each.

I have certain strains I like - They are probably hybrids or sativa - not sure.  My 2 favorites are "wedding crasher" and "jet fuel."   I have some "lemon drop" that is also pretty good for sex.  "Platinum punch" is really good for relaxing you and improving your mood.

Am I correct to say that all dispensaries do NOT carry the same brand of strains?  This has been my experience, and in my area there are approximately 15-20 different dispensaries.  They'll have sativa, indica, etc., but not, for example, "Lemon Drop,: etc...

You can try sites like Weedmaps.com to see if your particular dispensary has a strain you want, and use Eaze to get home delivery (if you are in Southern California).

Sativa is always the best because it’s an upper, Indica is dower, and Hybrid is a blend of both. Hybrid for me always brings me down more and seems to lean more indica, which is why I prefer to just smoke sativa.

With a strain that's 80% THC and 20% CBD you get the best of both worlds.

Thank you!  I tried Weedmaps last evening, and what you cited was truly on point!  I found out where a particular strain was being offered, but the only downside was that it was a few miles from where I live.  I do thank you though, for I shall use this site in the future.
