Day off?

For the providers…how often do you want a day off? How often do you actually plan/take the day off?

During July I worked 14 days. Most days just one client, some days up to 3. That includes my other work (filming for my fans site). I can plan to have a day off but then someone asks to book and I’ll usually take the booking. That’s the issue: last minute bookings and the inability to plan ahead definitively. So I keep my time very flexible and can pick up or drop other things I’m doing as required.

This is like rule #3 in Murphy’s law of escorting: 

you take the day off, and you’ll be off for the next week; that will magically be the day everyone wants to book and no one will want to book the rest of the week.

Exactly. When I’m away on holiday there’s texts and e mails asking to book. When I get back from holiday….tumbleweed.

This is why I would never want to do it full time or as my main source of income. The inability to plan would be too frustrating for me. Hats off to you guys who have the tolerance for that though.🙌🏾

Agree, I don’t do it full time. I wouldn’t have the energy let alone the inability to plan. I do like some degree of certainty about how my week will go, although I appreciate the flexibility I get. 
I think a lot of the guys who do work full time tend to be comfortable with not planning in advance. I’ve tried to set up filming sessions with them for my porn fans site and very few want to commit in advance to a day for filming. It’s almost always a provisional date to be confirmed on the day, presumably because nothing more interesting or lucrative hasn’t come up! That doesn’t work for me because I’ll have booked the location and arranged cameraman etc.

I’ve seen several masseur ads that block out one day a week, sometimes with shortened hours on other days. Massage is more physically grueling than escorting, maybe that’s why masseurs will spell it out within the profile. I imagine if they are more in need of money than rest they can book one of the clients who cannot read. 
I support taking a free day every week next matter what type of work one does.
