This is Pride Weekend in Montreal I assume as all my favorite escorts and many others have gone there. A few I contacted said they could meet me there. I declined.

I saw on Rentmen that many international escorts have also descended on the city.  The border opened to US visitors on Monday so that was good timing for the event to be successful in attracting talent.

I decided to abstain since I am still reluctant to mix in large crowds not knowing who is vaccinated. I hope the event doesn't become a super spreader but cases are increasing in Quebec daily, as in most of the rest of the country.

We'll have to see how this turns out. Meanwhile I'm sticking with the local.

What is it about Montreal?

Poutine or putain?

It's not the Poutine. Trader Joes tried selling that stuff here and had to give more refunds than any other product. Gravy on  greasy French Fries is one of the worst ideas ever.

Per capita my experience is Quebec City also had a surprising number of agreeable private dancers to be so small. I quess it's a French-Canadian thing. Trying to afford something better than poutine.

Hey, I just checked and WOW! It looks like "La Fierté" attracted all the escorts. My default page is Toronto and I was wondering: "Where did all the men go?!" 🤣 It's probably the first time that I see Montreal with more reviews than Toronto. Right now there are 104 reviews in Montreal and only 87 in Toronto. It's usually the other way around. So envious of you @Luv2play being so close to the studs.

Trader Joe’s couldn’t possibly give the best representation of poutine! While there are many recipes, local pastrami chain here in SoCal “The Hat” does a killer gravy fries, bring 2-3 friends. Not to mention their pastrami chili cheese fries.

during my one and only (so far) visit to Montreal (January, 2016), I made it a point of trying the triumvirate of foods Montreal (and/or Quebec/Canada) is famous for!

though a tiny bit touristy, I can say the bagels at St. Viateur were the best I've ever had.....just seemed fresher, less processed, bread-ier, and more bagel-y!...it's the water, I think!

had a smoked meat sandwich somewhere (don't remember) and I'm sure it was very good....Yanks will know it better as being pretty close to a pastrami sandwich.....

and, of course, poutine...available everywhere and in a wide variety of iterations.....I had the classic method, of course, with only hot brown gravy and curds....did read somewhere that the hot brown gravy is primarily only to keep the fries hot underneath.....the history of poutine is fantastic!  https://www.mentalfloss.com/article/57508/brief-history-poutine

fearing Montreal would be the Paris of North America, I also remember trying to be polite and uttering, "bonjour, parlez-vous anglais?" every time I entered a shop....replies ranged from, "oooooh, I vill try", to, "sure, I'm from Toronto, wadaya want?"......

Schwartz's was THE smoked meat emporium in Montreal and I believe is still open. Leonard Cohen, Mordechai Richler and other celebrities visiting from abroad patronized it. Ben's was close to McGill university so I went there with friends during my college time. Closed I believe.

For a native Quebecers, I have to confess I have never tasted poutine and never will. I think it's disgusting. And not healthy either.

I just did a quick check on Wikipedia and it seems poutine and I were never meant to be. It hadn't appeared in Montreal by 1970, the year I moved to Toronto to go to law school. Later I became aware of it but had moved to Europe, where needless to say, it was not served on menus in Geneva or Paris at that time. And later, back in North America, I was too set in my tastes to venture a try.

The real poutine is freshy made French fries with beef gravy with cheese curds on top! No not healthy and not everybody's cup of tea. But for French Canadians and some Anglo ones it's a snack/comfort food treat. I once knew a guy from Toronto who made them at home in the USA with Cheez Whiz on top but even he admitted it wasn't the same thing.

I tried poutine a couple times in Montreal and gagged both times so it was the poutine. I won't be trying any versions of it again. Took long enough to get the memory of the taste out of my mind.

Should I need to curse a Quebecer, may his escorts be flaccid and his only poutine from McDonald's.

Lol, that's why I always have some Viagra with me when meeting providers. The good ones don't mind, take it, and deliver. The scammers fail even with viagra, weed and porn.

All the escorts in Montreal this weekend have been joined by a lot of politicians today. Prime Minister Justin Trudeau called a federal election this morning and it seems all the leaders of the parties rushed to Montreal where the crowds are this weekend.

Everyone loves a parade, it seems.😍

Lovely, will the escorts have a good profit from conservative clients as @marylander1940 says it happens in the States?
