I usually frown on the use of the Internet abbreviation "LOL" -- how often does one really laugh out loud online? -- but the above post really cracked me up.

In that case, rather than quote your harsh words to NYCMuscBoy I'll give you a quote from one of my favorite plays, Moliere's Le Misanthrope: "You should leave the sins of others alone, until you've made some progress with your own."

Then again, I

>am definitely not a negotiator.

Thanks for making that clear.

Didn't you mean to say "eBoy"?

Oh, by the way, Matt's busy on the night that you plan for the auction...

The first comment of yours in this thread to give me pause...

It seems as if you have selected the wrong part time business to be in. You are so inflexible and so into blaming others that I wonder if you are hired very often or if you even have any repeat customers. I sort of doubt the latter due to the statements you have made in this thread. While an interesting thread I see you aas nothing more than a Gorified Street Hustler. You asked for feedback, you now have mine.

HooBoy I disagree with your thoughts here. I do not purchase any service blindly and do not spend money in needless ways. I have negotiated often with esocrts and they have seemed happy with the agreed to fee. I have even had escorts initiate the negotiations when I tell them I'm interested yet their fee is too high.

Some escort's services are worth more than others. Yet generally I have found that this isn't due to what they charge it is due to what they do to please their clients. So often I have been with an esocrt less than others and have had a great time. And i ahve tried the overpriced ones only to find they didn't serve me as a customer well (in some cases). Yes what the market will pay is important and some will eventualy outprice themselves. Some already have. Yet far more often than not I find it reasonable to request a better fee. And more often than not I have received a positive response.

I also should add that I will tip an escort who I feel went out of his way to meet my needs. I would say that I tip at least 7 out of every 10 escorts I have hired.

And yes they are a commodity.

Then I am proud to be a "Gorified [sic] Street Hustler!"

What is the point of this discussion group if we can't discuss? I expressed my feelings, and if you find them lacking, and me a dreadful person, that's just fine. I don't use this site as a means to draw business to myself, so I feel more comfortable discussing openly what I think.

In posts in the above thread, I've noted that I have a great deal of trust in my clients, who are mostly repeat customers, and that I run a quality business for which I don't charge a fortune.

As to your charges of being inflexible: I am, incidentally, very flexible, as I attend yoga at least once a week.

I am beginning to see why all other escorts have steered clear of this discussion -- some things are probably best not discussed.

A diversion LOL

I was momentarily crabby about the use of "LOL."

I was reeling from a recent Internet conversation with an 18 year-old, whose every other word was "LOL." As in: "Hi there LOL LOL I'm just hangin LOL LOL LOL."

LOL.

Curious - I am of course deeply offended by your last post, however, I find myself unable to stop laughing long enough to insult your wit...

I actually count my money in front of most of my clients for a quite different reason - the way that new bills from an ATM stick together so badly anymore. I certainly don't mind being tipped, but I want to know if I am so that I won't get upset at someone accidentily paying me more than he meant to. I once had a gentleman who owed me $210 pay me in cash. I checked it and he had unintentionally given me three hundreds and the ten, instead of just two.

LAST EDITED ON Oct-09-00 AT 10:49AM (EST)[p]No, strictly firm fixed-priced (for those into gov't contracting, this takes on a slightly different meaning).

RE: A diversion LOL

Ah, PMS -- I get a touch now and then myself.

No problem, it passes as surely as a bad chinese dinner!

LOL

Now being 18 doesn't pass so easily...only with time (if one is lucky).

  • 2 weeks later...

I will lower my rates sometimes, but normally only for longer term meetings and for repeate good customers.

Oh I do reduce rates for birthdays, and when they really just need more of an escort than a sex partner.

Drop it 40pct? Not likely on an hourly.
