How accurate is "I'm Into?"

When planning my birthday orgy, I very specifically contacted only escorts that said they were into "Groups" on their RM profile. Yet oddly, two out of the three guys I contacted said they actually weren't into groups despite that being on their profile.

No worries on my part if that's the case, but just curious if what we see on there is accurate or just reflects maybe what people put when the create the profile but not maybe their current preferences? Or maybe it relates to comfort with the client for those activities?

Just wondering if it should be a guide at all or really I should just not take what that says at face value at all.

Buyer beware.  Some escorts check everything.  Some leave out things they will do.  For example, I hired a muscle guy who did not list bondage as an activity and who had a reputation for not being into that despite his rumors of his bottoming skills.  This was a last minute no research hire and so I was prepared to accept a basic vitas.  When he walked into my hotel room and saw the portable restraints attached to my bed, he squealed with delight and threw himself down on the bed spread eagled, ass in the air.

So bottom line, ask and you may receive or in my case, ask and they might receive.

@purplekowsums up beautifully why I completely  ignore “I’m into…” when I’m interested in someone’s ad. There are other threads in the forum that mention many clients don’t like “ask” or “ask me” but I usually am comfortable with starting a dialog and “asking”.

It's as varied as the guys themselves.

Since a site like RM shows "intos" as binary [yes/no] options, the degree a guy is into certain things can't be captured. He may be interested it a particular scene up to a point. "Groups" for instance could be as tame as a three way or as big as a full blown house orgy, and he may be comfortable with one type and not the other.

I generally assume that a guy who doesn't check off particular items is not interested in engaging clients who are looking for that kind of scene.  That doesn't mean they're not into it, just that they don't want to field the inquiries especially from clients they haven't met yet.  I've met a couple providers who are pretty vanilla on their profiles, but they will definately get into some kinky scenes if they know a guy.

Usually, I've found asking about a particular scene ahead of time helps clarify what they will do and any limits they might have.  I had a few times I wanted to try somethign new and I found asking about it helped open up a discussion that lead to some pretty fun sessions, but it also helped us negotiate the scene up front.   Other times it helped me figure out it wouldn't work out.

I treat the Into List as part of the general description of the guy, designed to give an impression without spelling out all details.  If something is important to me (like kissing) I ask whether it is listed or not.  I am really only troubled when the list is very short and tells me nothing. Then, I fear I might get nothing.
