US Stays Closed to Europeans

In a shock I'm hearing the CDC has decided to not reopen to Europeans as they have for the US. Ridiculous since Europe now has lower cases than the US and vaccinated tourists pose zero problem. They are now more vaccinated than the US and gaining fast.  

Yet Europeans who go to Cancun for 14 days first can still come in because Mexico, in spite of it's high case number, has always been open to US travel.

CDC are nuts.
