Is there a list?

Also, how likely does anyone think it would be for an active forum member to be one?

I thought that possibilty would be remote, but someone who manages ads, both fake and real, and fake reviews, it would just be part of his job. Thoughts?

I just had a couple of fake reviews posted to my account.  Never even met the guys - I did say hello back to them on RM messenger but never booked anything and thats all it takes for them to post a 1 or 2 star review.  I emailed RM about it but they always respond with "Only the client can remove a review".  So disappointing - hurts the entire community.

I don't know if that's true. I once was asked by a provider to remove a 4 star review and I did. He wanted all 5 stars and only had a handful of reviews at that point. Another, with many hundreds of 5 stars reviews also objected to my comments about dated pics and blocked me on RM and I believe had my review removed. Can't tell since I am blocked.

Unfortunately RM provides very limited review options. Some providers are just rude communicators ( e.g. a provider I contacted responded 36 hours later and said he did not do same day appointments. I reminded him I contacted him almost 2 days ago. His response was , he will pass ..the conversation was polite, but I felt his attitude was very condescending. How do I review this to alert my fellow John's? ). Another one set up a meeting. We met outside the hotel lobby, and he had my stats and all other details ( including 'other' as ethnicity) before the meeting. When he noticed I was not white, he said he was taken aback and did not want to go forward. This was waste of my time . RM does not allow me to review such situations. So that could be the reason some clients post 'fake' reviews. They are 'fake' because the actual meeting did not take place, but a lot of things can happen outside the actual meeting.

That is why you should at least have an attempt to communicate with a new escort via the messaging on the rentmen site.  There will be a record of communicating with the escort.

Then, rentmen has a record of the back and forth communication.

If the escort decided to cancel the meeting once you physically met, rentmen should accept a review from you.

If you write rentmen and explain the situation and that you actually met, there is no reason a review would not be accepted despite the meeting being interrupted because the escort was not happy with your race.

Escorts that behave the way you described should be outed for their behavior.

You assumed the communication was not on the RM messenger. It started there and moved to texting via phone. RM did accept the review..but to fit it within the options they provide, some parts had to be faked. Because if I choose 'meeting did not happen', RM generally does not accept the review.

Were it not for the dumb attitude of the escort, you would have carried through.

What was there "to be faked" with rentmen?  You did, in fact, meet with the escort.

You met, then the escort did not want to go forward with the meeting.  That does not change the fact that you met, which is all rentmen requires for a review.

I do not have proof, but I have a pretty strong gut feeling that some of the folks that create fake RM client profiles who end up creating fake reviews in RM are also on this forum, hyping up the RM providers they're already hyping up on RM. Is there a way to draw them out here on the forum, there used to be, and some were called out on it, but they've gotten smarter and tried to hibernate and adapt to general member behaviors to (e.g., creating or replying to one-off posts). To those folks, welcome to the forum 😜.

May be my point did not come across well. I gave examples of situations which I personally experienced that led me to leave at least partly fake reviews because I had no recourse. So, this could be the reason why some people leave fake reviews.

It is also possible that competitors in a shared market leave bad reviews for each other.

When I leave a review I’m always asked to verify my account with a text message. Is it the same thing for everyone? I think it’s a way for RM to prevent people from creating multiple accounts.
You also have to wait 15 days from the creation of your account to leave a review.

There have been times I have thought about leaving a bad, legitimate, review for providers when I was still one. I'm probably in the minority but I felt karma would not be kind.

There was one time on either massagem4m or masseurfinder where I received an E-mail, after I had had a particularly bad massage with another provider, that I got an E-mail about a new review to approve. At first I thought it was one of my clients reviewing me, but no, it was the bad massage I had the day before had written a review for him on my behalf and used my E-mail. When I questioned it with the site, they banned him and he E-mailed me cussing me out.

I only leave 5 star and 1 star reviews.  If someone makes a good effort, 5 stars.  Mediocre effort or a short visit, I don't leave a review.  I save the 1-star for the truly terrible providers.  I've only left 2 of these in the past several years.  I try to keep in mind the situations where we may just not hit it off.  To me, a 1 star review is a warning to others, so I treat it as such.

If I see poor reviews on someone's profile, it does deter me; however, I try to look at who left the bad review.  Is it a new profile?  Do they always leave bad reviews?  Have they left any positive reviews?  This helps me identify the trolls.

I rarely leave reviews since my regulars don’t advertise. Even if an encounter didn’t meet my expectations, I wouldn’t leave a negative review. Only for exceptional meet-ups.

And this is why Daddy's Reviews needs to continue on.

I agree, Daddy's fills an important niche here.

In many sex work markets forums are run where clients' reviews are posted under their own profiles, adding a layer of accountability without a Daddy-type figure having to do all the vetting and verification. I know that this site has been very deliberate about NOT using this model, so as to avoid running afoul of the law, but I wonder if in the future the M4M market will see this happen in some way (probably hosted in Europe).

They don't advertise anymore?

If not how did you meet them?

Reminds me of Doctors who don't take new patients and those who do.

Insist!

Sooner or later negative reviews get removed.

After my 2nd 2 stars review was taken down by RM I deleted my account.
