I just finished packing and in a few hours will be departing to Buenos Aires. I have not visited my second home in two years, and besides cuddling my 83 y.o. mother and my old friends, I am very curious about the city in pandemic mode. Things look bad over there right now, with restrictions close to Fase 1 in some places even if they are rolling vaccination with a good vaccine, Russian Sputnik.

The exchange is back to have an official and a parallel value. Today, official exchange is around U$S 1 = $AR 100; while the "blue" exchange is 1 to 150. Due to this huge difference, I will be restricting the use of credit cards (they use official exchange rates) and instead I am taking cash.

I will stay in an Airbnb for 30 days (less than 400 bucks!), a studio in duplex with two balconies in a 2nd floor (3rd for American standards), in Palermo. This is another reason I am excited. I always lived in Recoleta, and then kept staying in my family place or renting in that neighborhood. This is the first time that I am going to be exploring Palermo, a quite transformed area since my departure from the city. It is full of restaurants and bars, with a quite young/middle class demographic.

I will keep my general reports here in the open forums, and in the Club Argentina I may share more specific and rated info, as well as in GayGuides, where there are less speech restrictions.

Wish me a good trip!

Already here! One of the best flight I had ever. The plane from DC to Dallas was full, but he long flight to Buenos Aires was probably only have full. I was in the Premium Economy section and only two other people were in those 24 seats. American Airlines service was super nice, the food quite goof for a plane, and one of the cheapest tickets ever, almost 1,1 K.

Ezeiza was also semi empty and totally transformed by the control protocols. After picking up your luggage, you have to take another test (I had to take one before), but the whole process was efficient and there were few travelers. Once I received my negative result, I was ready to walk out to meet my driver.

In previous trips, I would just go for the car services offered in the airport. Two years ago, I paid over 30 buck, which it is quite standard in my international trips. This time I tried something different. I asked my sister to hire a remise service. I paid $AR 1,650, 2K with the tip. That is U$S 20.56 at  the official exchange rate, 12.94 at the Blue exchange.

(Here a movie should show, but the file goes over the limit, it is a clip showing my airbnb, you can watch it at GayGuides.)

My Airbnb looks just like the pictures, and the neighborhood is exactly what I expected. I walked a little bit around. As the exchange rate shows such an abyssal difference between Official and Blue, I did not want to buy anything. In the airport, I withdrew $AR 4.000 to pay to the driver and have some cash. I need groceries, but I will wait to see my sister and mother (they are coming in 2 hours) and will sell them dollars at Blue rate. I am not scamming them, my friends, that is what people do here. You do not need to have family or friends. The locals want your dollars. If you go to most exchange shops or travel agencies, they will make the deal with you at Blue prices, without any paper track.

But I was hungry after almost 24 hours eating airport/airplane food. Right in the corner of my place, I found a very affordable restaurant. It looks quite average, and I loved the price although I did not have much time to compare. They were offering a "Menú Ejecutivo" for lunch at $AR 420. I wondered if they were making a pun, "420" is popular here in social media and hook up apps. I did not ask.

IMG_2115.thumb.JPG.7ad704c6bda40ca8ea4902ff526d3bd1.JPG

I went for the first option, the "mini" bife de chorizo.

IMG_2116.thumb.JPG.00287e911aae3dd547dafb90a9de5460.JPG

Delicious, my first piece of Argentine meat. While I was waiting, I enjoyed being in a Buenos Aires sidewalk. This is a Fase 1 weekend, so there is no traffic and people are walking their dogs wearing masks. This tree was right in my corner.

IMG_2114.thumb.JPG.0c8c9b6f2b0b25fd57d67d0ab3e2cb52.JPG

To give you an idea of local prices, this is the full menu of the place I chose:

IMG_2117.thumb.jpg.6585c79ca424c07da4f1066f97bbee79.jpgIMG_2118.thumb.jpg.994a7fa92859a55fa6bcb58e2dfb54c3.jpg

I included a tip, and paid $AR 500 for my bife de chorizo: U$S 5,14 at official rate, 3.24 at Blue rate.

30' after opening my Grindr, I had 15 hits. 10 of them were attractive men and young men. The good thing of having so many, you can pick only the best. I am talking with a 24 years guys very cute. I am not planning to do anything today anyway, so we are talking about meeting during the week. I am also talking with my boy Y, the Venezuelan hottie into chubby men that I met 2 years ago. I talked about him in my report here, (he was 22 back then, 24 now, I make the acceleration because I mention several possible ages in that linked report)and also wrote abut him in my blog. He is getting me pot and we will meet tomorrow. All this is sex for free.

I have not yet decided who the first professional will be, or when. The offer is generous. I wrote a report on my candidates, but since then more have been added to the list.

Now, I am going to wait for my mami while I catch up on my networks.

That's all for today, folks!

These first two week, specially this one, I am still heavily supporting my school from distance, and my movements are highly restricted, as at 8pm local restrictions mandate to stay home. I just went for a walk in between zooms and got still more in love with the neighborhood.

Yesterday not only was Sunday, but also the last day of a strict weekend quarantine. Most places were close. Today bars and restaurants were open and, as it was still morning, starting to set up their tables outdoors. Definitely, they seem to be tailored to welcome USA and UK visitors, both countries right now banned from entering. Just a sample:

IMG_2130.thumb.JPG.54d3cf3a77a070a63c8b24137fd09f53.JPG

I chose that picture not because it is exceptional, but rather the opposite. Most places have bilingual menus and signing. By the way, remember that here it is Fall.

I was concerned when I realized I did not bring any viagra pills, considering the activity I am about to start today (Y is coming this early afternoon). So I stopped by a local pharmacy to check whether or not they would sell me sildenafil without a prescription. The regulation here is unclear, and some places will demand a recipe, some will not. I was lucky and hit bingo in my first try. 20 pillas of 50mg, $AR 3600. If I had paid with my CC, the bill would have been U$S 37. As I used cash, I actually paid 23 bucks.

My Grindr keeps driving me crazy, Scruff so far has been a disappointment. I am saving the most interesting hits after a quick chat to confirm we are a match, I will probably start meeting them this coming weekend. I dropped a few pics in the private club as samples.

Somehow, Buenos Aires is more beautiful than usual in the middle of the restrictions. I guess is just my nostalgia. Yesterday was a sunny beautiful Fall day, but today is raining and cloudy. I am still working for my school, so my freedom is limited for this and next week. However, yesterday I left Palermo to have lunch with my mother in my old neighborhood, the famous Recoleta.

90% of the people is using masks, even outdoors.

This is the block where I lived for more than 20 years, in Rodriguez Peña street.

IMG_2137.thumb.JPG.80fdc0e248300fa8c13ec689e08a737e.JPG

Right in the corner, Rodríguez Peña & Guido, there is a travel agency where you can change your cash dollars safely and without a paper track. If you are staying nearby, that is the place I used 2 years ago.

IMG_2143.thumb.JPG.7734ccdfe1804be8c9ddf41b2f932c93.JPG

After I came back home I fucked my first Grindr hook up (I have a long cue), a cute 26 y.o. athletic guy who asked me to trim my pubic hair because it looked unseat. This was a first time. Additionally, he was not the only one who made that kind of comment amongst my hook apps candidates. Apparently they do not mind for a hairy body, but they want my pubic hair short. As a side note, I had not trimmed my pubis in a long time. Damn, I have a lot of grey hair below my cock.

Afterwards, and already in curfew time (my hook up left during curfew time and he did not care), I contacted my first escort. I am still stuck to my place and do not want to bring anyone I have not already met, so I went for Douglas, the Carioca I have already reviewed. His fee is only $AR 2,500 (26 bucks at official exchange, 16 at Blue's). I will see him tonight, hopefully.

My friend Y also got my weed supply. I purchased 10 grams at $AR 6,000 and 10 at 8,000. Total of $AR 14,000 (U$S 143 off/91 Blue. I was not sure how much 20 grams was after so many years purchasing ounces in the USA, and pressed cheap Paraguayan when I was living here. Not only I bought too much. Besides, afterwards, an old friend who is getting married got as present premium weed (I do not know how much yet) and he is giving it to me). I will be living in a cloud of weed smoke starting tonight. These are the flowers I got from Y's providers:

IMG_2144.thumb.JPG.d94a2a6c946b6eabc0f6dab12bcb5b2c.JPG

I rode in a regular taxi cab yesterday. For a 20' ride, I paid $AR 400 (U$S 4 Off/ 2.60 Blue).

And I have to get into a zoom. More info later.

Yes! It is a huge scandal and, personally, a disappointment.

The more I walk around Palermo, the more happy I am at my choice. After so many years in Recoleta, it is awesome to be back at home but, at the same time, to experience a different Buenos Aires. This is an area that had a lot of redevelopment after I left. There are many skyscrapers, crystal luxury department buildings next to family houses mostly from the 50s and 60s, although there are also older gems. It is not unusual to find buildings like this corner:

IMG_2159.thumb.JPG.c2040d7ec74691fa2716f0c2abc6bd0b.JPG

A traditional house built probably at the ending of the XIX, beginning of the XX century, refurnished and repainted to get a contemporaneous look. My favorite finding was an accident. My boy Y ran out of the anesthesic (dilocaína) lotion he needs for his ass to take my cock, so we had to look for a pharmacy. In our way to the one where I had bought Viagra a couple of days ago, we found this wonder:

IMG_2160.thumb.JPG.1a25ff21d5f79f72a1ad4a054a8c4297.JPGIMG_2162.thumb.JPG.3efecdbea16a1e83019e178d8ab5a6bb.JPG

I am not an architect, but that building is probably from the 1920s. And who knows when they cleaned those walls for the last time. The inside was just as old and outdated as the outside. A flashback in time that is not usual in this city anymore. The pharmacist is an old man, probably around 80, who needed a long time to move around and deliver an order. He probably is the son of the original pharmacist who opened the business. Surely, he is the last one to keep this pharmacy open. Soon they will be kicked out of the market by the modern uniformed pharmacy chains flourishing all over the city.

I guess you have heard about how good ice cream is in Argentina. I have never been in Italy, but I am told by Italians that it is almost as good as their famous gelato. I stopped by one of the best Gelato chains in the city, Volta. Take a look at those prices!

IMG_2165.thumb.jpg.2732d4447d6504b8ac1d6467517be8ea.jpgIMG_2166.thumb.JPG.0078d6154aa332cf9fee4aa8e6cada71.JPGIMG_2167.thumb.JPG.bf3dad26d7bda0c5e91a4afc456ab64a.JPG

I bought 1 Kg of delicious creamy pleasure for only 12 bucks at official rate, 7.70 at blue. Perhaps is more expensive than USA ice cream, but you cannot compare. If you want a fair comparison, compare this ice cream to an orgasm.

I keep checking out my favorite dishes out of my To Eat list. Last night, was the turn for milanesas argentinas auténticas.

(HERE THERE IS A MISSING SECTION. YOU CAN FIND IT IN THE CLUB ARGENTINA OR IN THE TWIN THREAD IN GAYGUIDES)

I am still struggling with finding a productive routine. I still have to telework until the 18th, and the city closes down at 8pm because of the pandemic. The government just announced new protocols, less strict, and starting next week the city will close at 11pm. When I am traveling, I usually write in the mornings. This time I will probably do as I am doing right now. Once the city closes down, if I have energy, I will write.

Many Argentines feel like everything good in their lives is owed to Peronism. From the times of Evita & Perón, when a day is sunny nd beautiful, it is a Peronist day. Well, this has been a Peronist weekend. Spring like temperatures and the announcements of downgrading restrictions in the city got Porteños in the street. I joined them, and yesterday met with a friend nearby my base.

I walked from my Airbnb to Plaza Italia. In my way, I enjoyed once again my neighborhood.

IMG_2172.thumb.JPG.55246ffdb797603ff6f161d4419c181d.JPG

This single block is representative of many others. In a few meters you can appreciate examples of buildings built along more than 100 years. And next to these typical landscape, you have a nuclear bomb that ruins everything.

IMG_2173.thumb.JPG.2fef66902abc8ea4bd373ff78725ed5d.JPG

I am sure the view from these towers is amazing, but they completely fucked up the skyline and the nearby family houses' privacy. I wonder how much money those developers paid in bribes to get approved a construction permit breaking the standards for the area.

In my way to Plaza Italia, I walked through another development from after my departure. They recycled the areas under and around train bridges. The one near my place is an open outlet shopping mall of local and International first brands. People were standing up in long lines waiting to enter the stores, as there is a limit set per squared meter.IMG_2174.thumb.JPG.95d7e2c101796e86e3685adb7d0c901d.JPG

As most shopping malls, this one is forgettable, but I thought you may be curious about American burgers prices. This is a Wendy's display. 319= U$S 3.28/2.05; 359 = U$S 3.69/2.31.  If you compare these junk food prices to what you have to pay for a prime steak (remember? I am paying 420), these are very expensive.

However, in Argentina, fast food crap like Wendy's, McD, and BK, are the choice for the middle class. Just another example of Argentinean middle class' "tilinguería" (a localism for "snobbism" carrying all the cultural nuances that its standard universal synonym lacks of), famous all over the subcontinent.

I met my friend at the Ecopark. I absolutely loved walking those trails I had walked so many times as a child, when the Zoo was up and running. The buildings are from Buenos Aires' golden age, when Argentina was still dreaming of becoming an International power. They are just beautiful, with many statues, fountains, and just all kind od constructions with high artistic value. The designers of some landscapes show great sophistication, the apparent intention is to show nature taking over the old buildings, as in a post apocalyptic narrative. Additionally, all the vegetation is local species.

IMG_2179.thumb.JPG.4b454ed4bd19511cbbfff9d52ce21c5e.JPGIMG_2181.thumb.JPG.c4bd7a874b584421ee176b77688f3b5b.JPGIMG_2195.thumb.JPG.846d8c989974a733c4fe0d64ac1de4d5.JPGIMG_2198.thumb.JPG.21ad36d792acf0834c46922bdef35a46.JPG

Most of the buildings that used to contain wild animals in captivity are now empty. Others have been refurnished. I still remember from 3 decades ago how this used to be a series of small cages with exotic tropical birds:

IMG_2185.thumb.JPG.9d8e3f19bb425a90e91d0127d207fdb2.JPG

Most animals have been sent to reserves, but a few still remain as they are too old, or sick to be translated. I saw an old poor elephant alone and away from the open to public areas. Other animals will probably become permanent habitants of a quite open space, in the middle of Buenos Aires.

IMG_2177.thumb.JPG.525739feebbf1341f6dc63d33ebb18e7.JPGIMG_2186.thumb.JPG.cbff0178539b37767a02dbfc45336361.JPGIMG_2199.thumb.JPG.f88f00c7c97b23102b3974570c4a58a3.JPGIMG_2200.thumb.JPG.2b836e89bdeeaaf965289ef25abee169.JPG

After te Ecopark, we walked towards Recoleta. This is all the fancier are of Palermo. We walked through the zone we mentioned before, Palermo Chico, where many local Plutocrats and diplomatics live.

IMG_2207-2.thumb.JPG.487f8a2d9e312c52b73c3e49d8b9e2eb.JPG

Right there, we have the embassy of a favorite American country.

IMG_2208-2.thumb.JPG.0a5403d3780cc0274311ca314b9d15cc.JPG

I ended the day exhausted after walking about 7 km, and went back home with the intention to write this report. But Grindr came in the middle of my task, and instead I ended inviting a local who made a party with my dick. I need to close Grindr or I will never hire again. To celebrate a good fuck, I ordered authentic Argentina empanadas.

IMG_2211.thumb.jpg.2633d8cfdd1257c4bd7dfd5cfb7f25af.jpg

Another item checked out of my To Eat List.

Today Sunday it was family time. First, I had to stop by the pharmacy to get more anti acids and more lube. Then, my mami was waiting for me with mbaipu

IMG_2213.thumb.jpg.ad33b0e91253b5a7a2df094da4bf7862.jpg

Originally the dish is from Paraguay, but we do the version popular in Corrientes. Another check out of my To Eat List.

After spending some hours with family I took advantage of being back to Recoleta, and ran up to the artisans fair to buy a water pipe.

IMG_2215-2.thumb.JPG.faeb61a5bff32847a0427b8800ef715d.JPG

And now I am here trying to make a decision. Grindr? A contract? Resting?

Do I understand from what you’ve posted @latbear4blk that the Zoo has been replaced by this Eco Parque?

I recall staying with an Argentine friend in 2005 whose rather glamorous apartment overlooked the zoo and hearing the loud roar of the lions. Whatever happened to the lions?

Of all the public spaces in that area, I always liked best the Japanese Garden. Have you visited or revisited that yet?

Yep, the zoo is gone and the non autochthonous animals still alive and not transferred will not be replaced once they die. No lions or any great felines, no bears,  the only African animals I saw were an old and lonely elephant and an old and lonely camel. The new park is really peaceful and beautiful, right in the middle of the city.

This passed week has been cold for this time of the year. I should not be discouraged by these temperatures but I got infected by the locals and almost did not go out. I kept checking stuff out of my To Eat List, though.

Of course, I already had my first breakfast with facturas argentinas.

IMG_2219.thumb.JPG.1bfff7b1bd5f6b519a659a71261ffe4c.JPG

However, rather than purchased food, I am orgasming at my mother's cooking. One of my favorite flavors in the Milky Way, my mami's lentils stew:

IMG_2225.thumb.JPG.a301d6a4d20758dfddf80ddc07cd5b6c.JPG

But I am not eating with her everyday, and so I am trying treats everywhere and checking them out of my list.

Pizza argentina. What you see is from Romario, a popular and traditional pizzería. At the bottom you have fugazzeta rellena, in the middle a mozzarella a la napolitana pizza, and on top two slices of fainá.

Not everything is from my To Eat List, sometimes I take other things. I forgot to take pictures, so this one is from the web, but I tried a delicious pamplona de cerdo in a Parrilla Uruguaya two blocks away from my place:

Certainly, this week I felt like my pants are shrinking. Hopefully this coming week I will walk moren as the weather forecasting is promising. Fortunately or unfortunately, all my friends are very cautious and only want to meet outdoors. So I have been meeting indoors with new friends.

(you can find the missing section in gayguides.com or in the Club Argentina)

Today I did take a walk back in my old neighborhood. After it, I love even more Palermo. But these are a few pictures of Recoleta nowadays at noon on a Sunday.

am reading a very recommendable book: The Routledge Handbook of Male Sex Work, Culture, and Society. It is a compilation of essays around male sex work grouped by thematic categories. I was afraid it was going tp be over academic and impossible to read as an enjoyable reading, but I was wrong. It is a huge volume, but not as much as it looks likes. A significant number of pages goes into references and notes.

9780367716035.jpg

For those friends who are History geeks, I also found an article that you may enjoy: La historia de las maestras estadounidenses que Sarmiento trajo a la Argentina. It was published in the main national progressive newspaper, and references a book about an episode not very known even amongst Argentineans. I happened to know about it because my parents are from, and I was born in Esquina, a small town in Corrientes province. One of the most prominent buildings in the city was in my childhood, and still is nowadays, the local Escuela Normal, founded by one of the US teachers brought to Argentina by Sarmiento. Both of my parents graduated from that school as Elementary School teachers. It is written in Spanish.

You can see the book cover below. "Señorita" is how pupils in Argentina's elementary schools address their teachers.

These last days the temperature got a little better and I felt again like exploring my new neighborhood. I wonder whether or not I would like it this much without the pandemic. I am quite phobic and do not enjoy crowds. All the places are empty, but at the same time speak loudly of how populated they used to be. Bilingual signing everywhere highlights the absence of First World tourists.

IMG_2630.thumb.JPG.8e57666f98c4992f6594a82d6b2e3438.JPGIMG_2631.thumb.JPG.86917bfaa613214628bd91c98f61c119.JPGIMG_2629.thumb.JPG.a3d69ecdf3107324d0fb0014f1d4e4c7.JPG

I saw something lovely during my walk this morning. A guy in his 20s was waiting for his friend in the sidewalk. His friend walked out when I was almost reaching where they were. I could clearly see how his friend greeted him putting his finger in his ass. They started to walk in front of me, I followed them for a couple of blocks. Both were beautiful. I was starting to think they were just straight friends and the finger in the ass had been a joke, when they held hands. Porteños complain too much, this city is ridiculously gay friendly.

Besides the walks around Palermo, I am frequently going to Recoleta to hang out with my mother. I am taking taxi cabs. I have said this before, probably every time I reported about Buenos Aires. Riding a car is like riding a roller coaster. It is scaring. One of the drivers started to insult another and to chase him looking for a fight. Crazy.

After several failures, I found two good panaderías a few block away from my nest. One is the green building in the corner above. I will probably go there for breakfast tomorrow. On Avenida Santa Fe I found another one:

IMG_2632.thumb.JPG.d0b05c434cc2de5a97fffacf1ff2072c.JPGIMG_2633.thumb.JPG.0293841cadcc50e219c069a6e716d470.JPGIMG_2634.thumb.JPG.f76649c68569c79d15231df868df4a34.JPGA

As you all know, I am in a quest to check items out of my To Eat List. This time was the turn for sandwiches de miga:

IMG_2635.thumb.JPG.492de56eda4d19f8061729912506eef4.JPG

You would probably think they are just coctel sandwiches. You would be WRONG WRONG WRONG. They are a sexual experience.

Grindr has become a distracting temping annoyance, considering the quality of the local taxi boys I have been meeting. The amount of views and hits is not as overwhelming as it was during the first week, but it is still high. In total, I invited about 7 guys to my place, 5 of them in their 20s, one in his 30s, one 40 y.o. They were OK, but I do not want to repeat. If you are into married men (to a woman), you will be hooking up all the time. You also must be careful about legal age. There are many kiddos looking for trouble.

So far I had only one frustrating experience with a professional. His pictures were outdated, and there was a smell in his room that booed me away. The other 4 I tried were great. A couple of hours ago I kissed good bye the one who apparently will be my new favorite, Tomy:

It was our second meeting, this time for two hours. Amazing. Right now I feel like a mix of Superman and Rhyheim Shabazz. I will meet with him at least once again, for a bundle session: pics, video, and sex. Tomorrow I will be meeting the one that will probably be my last try:

After him I will get devoted to repeats.I will miss Buenos Aires.

Bingo. The second panadería was exactly what I was looking for. So far, I have been there only twice, but I will keep going on, specially during my last days. IMG_2646.thumb.JPG.e7950c0f0a7c2bde7e55526d9516d6eb.JPG

That croissant right there made the difference. What a delicious, solid, generous portion of buttery pleasure! I can eat most croissants out there in two to three bites. In this case, impossible. My mouth is watering as I am remembering the flavor.

I also checked another item out of my To Eat List.

Fresco y batata, el postre del vigilante. This is a very popular and affordable sweet treat. What you see in the picture is the classic version, but there are many variations with different kinds of cheeses and/or additions to the dulce de batata, like chocolate. Yummy. The picture was taken at my sister's home.

We had a rainy day and I have been fucking like a bunny, so I have not been out much these last few days. In my few explorations, I keep falling deeper and deeper in love with Palermo. In one corner you have a sample of pure Rio de la Plata tradition:

A few meters away, a sample of pure sophisticated, cosmopolitan Buenos Aires:

When the rain kept me inside, I wish I would have been fucking all the time. Definitely I am too old for that. I have made big progresses in the book about male prostitution that I pitched before. I enjoyed the section on Latin America, not only because they were addressing our cultures and realities, but also because I was gladly surprised at a few very unusual mentions.

A couple of the essays recognize Nestor Perlongher, a man I worked with in the Argentine gay liberation movement back in the 80s. Just recently, when I wrote "Gay is not good" I had mentioned him as one of the significant progressive thinkers of the Latin-American sexual liberation movement, taken by the HIV pandemic. This is the first time I see his contribution recognized, and in an eloquent way, by Anglo-saxo academia.

Not only that. Even more unusual, considering the anti Peronist mindset that is mainstream in the First World, in the chapter about Argentina there is a recognition of Eva Perón's contributions to the fight for the rights of sex workers. And I did not know about that!

Of course, I did have some fun. I already reported on my meeting with Tomy. He is definitely my favorite and will meet him again in a few days. Today, early on, I met Alan for the second time. I have not yet published a full review of him, but he is my second favorite after Tomy. He is a very unconventional match for me, slightly too girlish. However, his horny voluptuousness captivated and seduce me.

I do not know when I will be able to write a full report, so meanwhile I share a few pictures as an advance.IMG_2695.thumb.jpg.3fc3c11fd77c07635980c8e6888a568f.jpgIMG_2901.thumb.JPG.a188ee048d0d9880df1d59a52ae21962.JPG

If you have been reading my reviews about Ander, Samir, and Tomy, you will know what I am talking about when I mention the sexy walk upstairs. Today, I have a sample for you:

One thing I noticed was that their profiles say "near FTD."Do u know what that means?

I have no idea. I have never seen it, I am afraid something is being lost in the translation here. The profiles I am reading are in Spanish.

I went for the first option, the "mini" bife de chorizo.

Delicious, my first piece of Argentine meat. While I was waiting, I enjoyed being in a Buenos Aires sidewalk. This is a Fase 1 weekend, so there is no traffic and people are walking their dogs wearing masks. This tree was right in my corner.

To give you an idea of local prices, this is the full menu of the place I chose:

No quarantine?
