Jokes aside: I do think it’s time to bring back “escorts” now that Donald Dump is out of office.

Let’s not forget: Sesta/Fosta was introduced in 2016 and killed off a lot of websites offering descriptive escort services.

Since the last election, not much has been replaced... but it seems like police reform is helping. With less of a budget, there doesn’t seem to be as much of a pressure to go after “providers”. But I have heard of a porn shop in Lincoln, Nebraska recently being raided and people arrested for indecent exposure or something like that.

Cities (big and small) will always go after the 'unsavory' during election cycles.  It's how they whip up their base into a frothy lather.

Just as the IRS has been defunded by the last several administrations (to a point of near-absurdity), the same can be said for SESTA/FOSTA.

The Biden admin isn't making it a priority:  I think it's time for adults to speak in complete sentences.

Going back over twenty years ago on this site, I believe this started with forum member WORLDSCORT.

I rarely heard the term "scort" until recently when a Forum member started using it ad nauseum

If that is the case, what is the word for which S is the intial, that results in the abbreviation S-cort?

Its the shortcut you use when pronouncing a word rather than saying the individual initial.   A better example would be 4play where you pronounce the 4 as four+play , 2go for to+go, L8r for later or Bhive for bee+hive.  In this case, you are simply pronouncing the S as it's sound "ess"  hence ess+cort.

I fully accept it doesn't save much at all...  but some people shorten/abbreviate etc. everything they possibly can.
