COMING SOON: New Forum Organization

After speaking with the other moderators, it has been observed the organization of the forums is a little unnatural and seems to be sorted based on when they were created. As a result I will be looking to reorganize the forum listings a bit. Below is an outline of how we plan to organize the display:

I did not want to just spring this on everyone unannounced, so my goal is to share the plan here first and then make the change in the next few days. If you have any questions or would like to propose a name for the Lounge/Cabana container, feel free to reply below.

I suggest that the Lounge, Cabana corner be named The Hooboy Corner or some similar name to respect and honor the original founder of the message board.

I also never understood the relevance of the name The Deli in relation to discussion ABOUT escorts. Perhaps the name needs to be more identifiable ?

The Cabana would continue to be limited to those who have contributed to the site or to "trusted members" so that we continue to have a semi-public (or most likely more accurately non-public) space for discussions.

 

I was not around when the Deli was named, but I always thought of it as a deli being a place where you buy meat... what kind of meat you might be purchasing I'll leave to your imagination. (Most of us here would be fans of a nice sausage I imagine.)

An example of some of the topics in the semi-private conversation area include what I posted regarding estimated operating costs for the website... some updates on finding out the status on Daddy (before we found out the bad news), etc. It's things that might be somewhat more sensitive in nature and not something we want being able to be picked up by Google or by a bot creating an account.

The Den could be appropriate as it can refer a brothel's den where men gather while waiting and being entertained. Whatever it is, I appreciate how much effort the moderators, administrators, finance guy, tech guy are doing to keep this going. Thank you

It's still there. Everything that exists today is still going to be there. I'm just going to be reordering/regrouping the forums. (I'm creating a new announcements forum as well in an effort to need to pin threads in The Lounge like we traditionally have had to do.
