Those who are from Dallas and/or Austin, is $400 typical/average rate in those cities?

I understand that there will always be outliers, but am wondering what the typical rate is. Let's say those who offer services from rentmen.

Lived in Dallas for 40 years before moving last year. In the last couple of years before moving I found the most common rates to be in the $250-300 range.

I agree. Although i think most can afford it, I find it hard to justify for just an hour of fun. The expectations are so much greater that I almost feel let down after the fact.

Since I’ve been indulging in this hobby, I’ve always paid a session rate, which usually means an hour to two hours. Luckily, I’ve never had a provider watch the clock. Never. That rate is somewhat unique to me.

I was about to say that $400 is not the typical rate anywhere in the US.

I would say that $300 is the upper end of the average range and it can go down depending on the city and attributes of the provider.

Is there a chance that in smaller US cities the going rate is around $200 and lower?

Of those that I’ve talked to, $250 is probably more prevalent, but there’s definitely those out there that go for $200.
