Recently I stumbled upon the pornstar mugshot website. I guess I was pretty naive. I had formed opinions on some of these guys based on their on screen personas. Happy go lucky guys just enjoying sex. Most that I have considered favorites seem to have a sense of humor or present an interesting back story.

Aside from the few that were just minor infractions, there were some pretty heinous crimes ( innocent til proven guilty ) listed along with the mugshots.. I know it is Porn and should come as no surprise but I had to stop looking at the site for fear of further disillusionment. Politicians, celebrities, family I guess we candy coat the fact that human beings in general are pretty flawed.

As my old friend Oscar Wilde said: The truth is rarely pure and never simple.

Have you considered that the same could be true for guys on dating apps, hookup apps or maybe that cute guy at the gym. Life is complicated - but be smart about it and take precautions! ??‍♂️

I’m always intrigued at how society has such a low bar of “moral expectation” for porn performers, when they’re simply doing on-camera, what everyone else is doing behind closed doors.....

Ironically, the listing of crimes and arrests for Hollywood actors, and those in “mainstream”

Entertainment, are probably just as long and disturbing (if not longer)..... This doesn’t include all of the scandals that the Hollywood machine erases from public record to maintain the image of the stars that society seems to worship.

Porn performers are people. People are complex.

Pornstars are actors, they act on camera and even if you follow them on twitter is hard to get an idea of who they truly are. Unfortunately the "easy money" lifestyle enables them to do PNP, etc. and one things leads to another.

I get at a young age people get into partying etc. which may land them in trouble with the law I get that. I think what bothered me most is that two of the guys I have always liked had crimes involving children on their rap sheets. Hell two Sean Cody guys I liked ended up being convicted of murder.

Whether Priest or pornstar and everyone in between we certainly are a flawed beast. So many heroes have come crashing down from pedestals in the last decade, maybe it is just a part of my getting old and accepting it as reality. Tom Hanks better remain a good guy, I don't think I could take a scandal involving him and Rita. LOL

Just pay no attention to their eldest son:

The father is Hollywood’s consummate nice guy — Tom Hanks — who has played everyone from Mr. Rogers to Walt Disney.

The son is a tattooed aspiring rapper who declared in an Instagram video that 2021 will be “white boy summer.”

Meet Chester Marlon Hanks, 30, a k a Chet, first son of Tom and Rita Wilson, who has been doing his best to break from his family’s clean-cut reputation — with domestic violence accusations, a bloody head wound and backlash for cultural appropriation.

The black sheep of the Hanks clan first burst onto the scene in 2011, as rapper “Chet Haze.” While studying theater at Northwestern, he released the song “White and Purple” — a remix of Wiz Khalifa’s hit, “Black and Yellow,” referencing his school’s colors. The general reception was a collective head scratch.

In 2014, he was admitted to rehab for cocaine addiction, saying he had struggled with substance abuse since he was a teen. In 2016, his then-girlfriend Tiffany Miles gave birth to daughter Michaiah.

He later had a small role on Showtime’s “Shameless” and played a rapper in “Empire” in 2018.

But he continues to be best known for his bizarre social-media posts — and a large script tattoo across his chest that declares “I Am Who I Am.”

In January 2020, he posted a viral video of himself speaking in a Jamaican accent while attending the Golden Globes, where his father was accepting the Cecil B. DeMille lifetime achievement award.

His more recent take on Megan Thee Stallion’s “Hot Girl Summer” has confused even more people.

“I just got this feeling man, that this summer is, it’s about to be a white boy summer,” he said in an Instagram video. “Take it how you want.”

“I’m not talking about Trump, NASCAR-type white,” he continued, “I’m talking about, you know, me, [R&B artist] Jon B, [rapper] Jack Harlow-type white boy summer. Let me know if you guys can vibe with that and get ready, ‘cuz I am.”

Then a video emerged of him with a gushing head wound after a January altercation with his ex, Kiana Parker. The disturbing footage obtained by TMZ showed him with a bleeding forehead — the result of Parker swinging a pot at him. It kicked off a flurry of nasty accusations between the pair.

He accused her of stealing his money and subsequently sued for assault. She said he had been violent against her and had obtained a restraining order against him.

Luckily for the general public, the current wave of bad press hasn’t affected Chet’s productivity. Page Six reported “White Boy Summer” was not a music video, but a full-length feature film.

“We’re gonna get to edit it and come out with it real quick,” he told photographers.

Will Tom come to the premiere?

Wow!!! I never knew about Tom Hanks’ son.... I don’t understand these children of Superstars... they have opportunities ready to be handed to them on a platinum platter, yet they choose to make fools of themselves instead.

I just don’t get it.

Children of superstars are people. A wise man once said people are complex. I don't remember who that was.

Porn is having sex for money in front of a camera and crew so they have at least the problems many prostitutes in the US do. Probably more. I'm always amazed at comments that seem to think escorts are shy or overly picky.

THIS, I don't think that Porn actors, as people who have lost any sense of shame regarding their public image, would have particularly high standards of morals or personal "reputation". I would say that anyone looking to hire porn stars they feel very attracted to, should double-check on this forum and the mugshots website to background check on the provider in question, see if they have committed any recent offense, and take calculated risks if the attraction is just too strong and they still want to go for it.

Statistically,

The biggest danger to people (in the realm of sex), isn’t an escort, or a porn star...

It’s that Grindr/Jack’d/Adam4Adam/Craigslist hookup (that was free of charge).

Honestly, in dating, mating and any other intimate interaction, once should consider a background check.

I’ll admit that I get highly annoyed when people tend to “categorize”, the expected level of “character” of a person, simply because they are in a sex-related profession.

The most disgusting, nasty, morally corrupt people that I’ve encountered in my life (in person/or have witnessed through the news or experiences of others), were not escorts or porn performers.

What one does for a living and who they are as a person are (for the most part) mutually exclusive...

I always think of a situation a few years back, when I met a guy (off of an app), who, after one dinner date, I ghosted, as he creeped me out.

Years later, after learning of his disgusting, sexually deviant behaviors, which, at a minimum involved infidelity, a multitude of STDs and some other things, I was glad that I didn’t naively assume he was a “good person”, because of his resume (as most others naively did).

He’s an ivy-leave educated, 7-figure earning lawyer.

I'm always amazed at the stories shared by my friend Carmine about some of the young men he meets on Grindr! Scary?

But back to the OP.

I wouldn't make any sweeping generalizations about porn stars, unless you are prepared that people might do the same about you for watching it.

It's a business.
