So I really enjoy kissing but I'm not really into kissing guys with a bunch of facial hair, especially mustaches. Is it appropriate to ask an escort to come to an appointment clean shaven? Especially if they have facial hair in their pics on RM?

I would ask the escort to groom his face. If he typically shaves, then shave. If he has a few days growth, make sure it is trimmed. If he has a beard, call someone else.

most escorts if they haven't shave in a couple of days ask the client about shaving or not.

 

You'd be surprised about how many clients would rather the escort show up scruffy.

 

Obviously if in his picture he has a beard, I would move on and hire someone else unless the client is willing to pay extra for the "makeover".

If their main profile pic shows facial hair, I don't even click on it. I just move onto the next guy. If their pics have both clean shaven and facial hair pics, I probably would ask what their current situation is and decline if they have facial hair. (I don't like the prickly or furry feeling...) If they reply that they are willing to shave, that's their decision. I'm not paying extra for a guy to shave a beard/mustache that he's had for months/years just for an hour or so of fooling around. If they aren't attached to it and want the job, then they can shave. haha

I think it is unreasonable to ask an escort to be clean-shaven if his pictures show full facial hair. If you do ask, be prepared to compensate the escort for changing his look. Keep in mind he might refuse to accommodate your request because other clients expect him to present himself as he advertises, i.e. clean shaven and waiting to accept other clients until the hair grows back would cost him income.

Yes but it's like clients contacting someone who advertises as top only and complaining "why doesn't he bottom?" or "would he bottom for me for an extra fee?". Some guys (not pointing at anyone in this thread) want what they can't have. Asking someone to shave when his pics show he is a lumbersexual might be a turn on to some clients because they're already using power over him asking him to go the extra mile and change for them.

I think if you see someone with a beard and you’re looking clean shaven, you should prob look for someone who’s hairless. It’s different if they do a switch up with their facial hair to a stache/scruff, but if they don’t shave and you’re asking them to shave that’s a whole another story.

My thing is: what is considered clean shaven? Bare with a razor, or just trimmed low? Because there’s both. So maybe he did shave, but just left a 5 o’clock shadow trim?

 

If someone asked me to be clean shaven, I would not take the appointment, even for extra money. Especially since I have no issue getting laid with it. However, mine would be more about health versus image. I cannot take a full shave. I can get line ups and even straight razor, but not a full clean shave. I would break out and get quite bumpy, and the irritation of growing it back would last for days.

 

I can however trim to a low length, but I personally don’t like the look on me as I feel that it detracts my look a bit and brings attention to features that the beard helps conceal.

Stubble grows back quickly; a full beard usually doesn't. I can imagine asking someone who sports a very well trimmed beard/stache if he could be clean shaven, knowing that he might decline. I wouldn't even bother asking someone who has long facial hair to shave since I assume he prefers that look.

Yes, I realize you’re the one compensating him but absent that consideration what would you do if you really wanted to engage his services?

Is it appropriate to ask? Absolutely. He can say no. And then you can make up your own mind about whether this provider might be able to meet your needs. To me, asking a gent to change their personal appearance may be a step too far. I agree with what’s been said - if their pics vary between clean shaven, and facial hair, then I think it’s fair to ask which version will be showing up and/or requesting the clean shaven look. But, if a gent has facial hair in all his pics, and you’re set on clean shaven, you may want to consider other gents.

 

Stubble, scruff, a beard, etc. doesn’t bother me - it would no doubt be hypocritical of me, a bearded man, if it did. I will say that I’m really not a fan of the long “Duck Dynasty” type beards at all. I’ve only ever met one gent with the longer beard where it worked. Probably because he is drop dead gorgeous with or without, and he’s meticulous about keeping it clean and soft. He’s in my top 5 to re-engage after my second jab.

 

The only question I tend to ask regarding hair is body hair. I’m a fan of body hair, so if pics vary between smooth and hairy, I ask. Nine times out of ten, the gents have no issue with the question, but there have been a few who seemed to get insulted I asked.
