Do partnered members, especially if you've been together for a long time, still sleep together? My partner of almost 20 years and I used to share a bed. Now we have separate rooms. Even when we do have sex we sometimes return to our own beds. In fact, my room is the one we used to "entertain" guests to keep our bed clean.

Older straight couples sometimes shift to twin beds but I have never heard of it for gays.

My partner of 18 years (and counting) and I share a sleeping bed only when traveling (remember what traveling is? ?). As a matter of fact, we‘ve always had separate bedrooms and bathrooms. When we want to play, we use his bed or mine, whatever. The system has worked very well for us.

...although that’s unlikely to ever happen.
Don’t give up, @Pensant. In Spanish, there is a saying “matrimonio y mortaja del cielo baja”, which loosely translated means “marriage and shroud descend from heaven”. I can tell you that my own partner showed up in my life when I least expected it, totally out of the blue, and I was not sure I truly wanted one. Love just happened. Edited by liubit

I was on the Other side of the coin. My partner and I for the 22 years we were together shared the SAME bed. i gotta say that for me, THAT was one of the best parts of the relationship, sleep/cuddle time.... It gave me a sense of security and calm.

My husband of 8 years and I cuddle every night and morning in the same bed that we sleep in together. We don’t have sex, but we cuddle a lot.

While I have mentioned here many times my partner and I had an "open relationship" of sorts, sharing our bed solidified our closeness and committment to the relationship.

For me, a main goal of committing to a long term relationship was to "have someone always there for you". Sharing the bed encompassed that .

And even today, 21 years AFTER his passing, I have 10 pillows on my bed which I cuddle up to as compensation. Does that make me NEEDY ?

:eek::eek::eek:

I hate to be touched while trying to sleep, I can't fall asleep if someone is touching me.

There have been threads about overnights where the escort had to previously agree to cuddle with the client for the entire night...

For me, an overnight would be a complete waste because I like sleeping alone and in my own bed. I'm curious what an 8-hour booking during the day would be like.

Agreed! I don't want to hijack this thread but I'd rather hiring someone today and tomorrow.

Besides most escorts complain about clients who snore, some aren't even aware of it.

My first partner and I lived together for four years, and had separate bedrooms. However, during my first first three years living with my current spouse, we had one bedroom apartments and only one bed. I am much more comfortable sleeping alone--I am a restless sleeper and like having a whole double bed to myself--so as soon as we could afford to buy a house, we made sure it had two bedrooms. Now that we are old, we also tend to get up during the night to empty our bladders, so unless we are traveling and sleeping in guest rooms with a single bed or hotel rooms with only one bed available, we always sleep in separate beds. Our bedrooms are also our entertainment areas, and since we have totally different tastes in what we watch and listen to, we need our own spaces. If we had been forced to share a single bedroom for the past year of self-isolation, we would be snarling at one another.

It’s not a statistic.

We have talked about overnights so many times in this site!

Obviously your question was nothing but sarcasm ;)

No, it wasn’t. I was genuinely curious where you found that statistic. I haven’t been a member of this forum for anywhere near the amount of time you have, but I’ve read all of the threads about overnights on this site and although there have been comments about snoring by both escorts and clients, I never came away with the idea that most escorts complain their clients snore.

I'm only friendly with a couple of escorts and I have never discussed snoring clients with them, but I kind of doubt escorts would complain about them, after all, they make their living from those snoring clients. I find some of my clients distasteful, but I would never complain about them to other clients. Very bad business practice. I would also never put an escort in the difficult spot of having to answer questions I asked about their other clients.

Maybe you can ask them if they ever had a snoring client during an overnight and if they did something about it.

Complain? "He snored and I couldn't sleep all night long", that's not a complain that's a comment. Nobody is asking anybody on here to name names either. You're already calling some of your clients distasteful isn't that passing judgment?

Yes, snoring clients happen. Also most escorts take Viagra to have sex with clients they're not attracted to but sleep depravation because of a snoring client may not be something all guys could handle but for 1,200/1,500 they might.

would you flex all night long for the right amount of money?

We're married now, but together 22 years. Don't sleep in same beds, unless traveling together and can't avoid it. He snores something terrible, and also goes to bed at like 8:30 - 9:00. I snore (just not as bad) and go to bed around 11 - midnight. Plus I run hot. Like I'm a nuclear blast furnace. Don't touch me, I'll roast (LOL). He's always cold. haha. It does not work "together" (I'll be drenched in sweat literally dying).

When we do sleep in the same bed/room (ie: hotel) I crank that AC down to like 64 and only have the sheet on me and throw that stupid comforter on his side while he's curled up shivering (and I'm sweating my balls off).

Occasionally I will come down and "snuggle" in the morning (but then again he's up by like 6 a.m and I sleep until 8-9 depending on the day).

We've been together 24 years and have slept in the same bed together the entire time. Plus dogs too... the current dog sleeps between us under the covers, and previous dogs have slept either at the foot of the bed or above our heads on the pillows.

When I was traveling for escort work the overnights became an issue for us. We missed sleeping together, and ultimately both decided I would stop doing overnights.

But from the escorting perspective, I was fine with overnights. Never had problems with clients snoring or what have you, but I sleep pretty soundly. Also I would not book an overnight expecting a full night's sleep... cuddling and sexy fun in the middle of the night are expected and part of package. Afternoon naps are great for making up for lost sleep.
