Haven't used this, but there now seems to be a site and app called dayuse.com where some hotels offer rates for a few hours during the day. Presume this is a response to low occupancy.

Thanks kuz booking for 24 hotel when I'm not gonna sleep there is a waste 9f time and money so I preferred just a few hours . Thanks

Does anyone know any place in NYC that rent for how many hours you want . For example if you want to meet someone for 2hours you just pay for 2hours instead of paying for an hotel .

What if you try hotwire or priceline?

I'm sure even in normal times they have deals and even cheaper if you get a 3 stars hotel. Besides you'll only need a bed and a bathroom

Dayuse. As low as $60 for 4 hours. Hotwire also good, esp now rates are super low - you might be able to score a full overnight for not much more than dayuse. Careful on Hotwire, advertised rates often don't include a resort fee which can be as much as $30-40 (you'll know before you pay, but pay attention); some hotels don't charge that at all.

You’ll like DayUse, and no pre-billing your card and you can cancel any time, no penalty. Hilton nearby me even allows me to use Hilton Honors when I check in - albeit points don’t accrue - but WiFi and other benefits all there.

I used Hotel By Day for a while also, but much prefer Day Use!

because of current conditions a lot of businessmen working from home need to set up day use of luxury hotels for zooming

he/she has been zoomed out from kitchen table, pets running around house, children wandering in

the big zoom with new client leaves no room for mishap

SMART hotels are recognizing this new market and are marketing to it

If you have any closeby, I've found that some day spas with a couples float bath works well in a pinch. There are some that offer this, mostly are single person. But the couples float experience is essentially a massive bath with 5000lbs of epsom salts, a shower to rinse off and lots of space to have fun. Paid hourly. ;)

Dayuse.

The always helpful guys on this forum suggested this to me when I was in this same scenario last summer in NYC. I have my regular residence I live in when I visit/stay in NYC but it's deep in Brooklyn and I don't like dealing with the headaches of trying to orchestrate an outcall there. So I took the suggestion of a few forum members and used Dayuse. Only needed a room for a few hours in Manhattan and it worked out for the most part. Only issue was I didn't do my proper homework and realized the hotel I booked doesn't allow visitors to just come up to your room. You either have to leave a key card for them, meet them downstairs and bring them up, or have them sign in with I.D.

In addition to Dayuse, there‘s an app called Hotels By Day that allows users to reserve hotel rooms between 10am and 4pm.

I’ve used Hotel By Day too...they charge your credit card directly vs. Day Use you just book and pay at hotel. I prefer that.

Also for my area in SoCal Day Use has far, far more properties for me.

I recommend Dayuse and have used it several times in NYC. I’ve used a couple of Hilton’s close to mid town. I usually take the room for 5 hours for a 3 hour session with an escort. That gives me time to arrive early and find out the logistics of the place. If a key card is not needed for the elevator I text the escort and advise whether he can come straight to the room, or if I’ll meet him downstairs. Never had a problem.

Do the same with Dayuse here in London, never had an issue either - works really well
