The name game, or Who is MasonXXX

For the last month or so (maybe a bit longer?) there's been a profile on Rentmen (in Boston) from one "MasonXXX" who started his description by saying his name was Mason. Straightforward enough.

 

Yesterday (Mon 12/7) I was browsing the Boston ads as I do often, and saw what I thought was a new ad from one "ClintMatthew" - until I realized the pic was familiar - it was the guy who had been going by "MasonXXX" - and in the ad text, he still referred to himself as Mason. Ok, I thought - that's odd - and I wish guys would stick to one name or at least be thorough when deciding to change it. But whatever.

 

Today (Tue) I was looking at the ads again, and noticed that the "MasonXXX" ad title was back. Except now, he starts his description with "I'm Clint Matthew..." - a complete 180 from yesterday.

 

Anyone know what's up with this?? It would seem this guy is having some serious identity issues...

Name changes between cities not that big a deal, is it? If someone contacts you by your Chicago nom-de-porn, and you are living in CA, you can get back later than if referred to as your CA handle.

But raising this here is great, because potential clients can check on prior reviews in other locations, if that’s part of it. Often it’s probably just to make the profile come up under “new”

The search result is wrong. Slimking is an African-American escort in New York and HunkyDayLaborer looked nothing like Mason/ClintMatthew.

The RentMen corporation might have had to furlough half of the Personnel Dept, creating some pandemonium. Too many X’s in so many of the names!

The multiple name changes in the short time his ad has appeared in Boston are one story. Additionally, he has changed from bi to gay and from safe only to ask me, then to anything goes. He appears attractive. Has anyone here met him? Not sure if it's a language issue, flakiness or worse.

Despite the concern I expressed and others shared about name and profile changes I went ahead. My confidence grew based on our text exchanges. So happy I took one for the team. No need to nominate me for a humanitarian award because the session was ample reward. He's sexy, smart, good looking and friendly.

Don't let all the name and stats changes throw you off (I also think when he first came to Boston he said he was 8", but now it's up to 8.5"). I met with him tonight and the pics are very accurate and he's quite the stud. PM me for details.

 

One pet peeve: He's not 6'2". I'm barely 6'1" and he wasn't taller than me. Had that happen once before, said they were 6'2" and was barely 6'. My kingdom for a taller man!
