I truly admire escorts. They, the good ones, are a special breed.

Leaving different looks and skills, and economic factors aside,

not many can make a living wage out of getting horny,

many times with people they've never met before, or don't find particularly attractive.

While female escorts are more vulnerable to dangerous situations,

I'm curious to know if you male escorts, have some horror stories.

Situations, where you've felt your physical integrity or mental sanity were at risk while doing your job,

or perhaps unusual, awkward, disgusting, or hilarious situations that have also been "of horror".

Ideally, this would be anonymous, and only for escorts to answer, without personal client's details,

but if you are a client who knows the anonymous story of an escort who's not in this forum, you can participate.

This is a tribute to acknowledge the valuable, and sometimes not-so-glamorous work, that escorts do.

I know, I know, I should have posted this on Halloween, but for some reason, I forgot.

I’ve had horror stories, but I see them now as lessons and experience under my belt. I can look back and laugh now, knowing what happened then... I’d never in a million years let it happen now. And how I could have done things differently. And often times, those same situations present themselves again... and I know what to do because of what happened last time.

That said, it’s not a safety net by any means... and there’s still some crazies out there. However, I statistically believe there’s more danger on Grindr and like hookup apps (there’s a story about a cannibal in Michigan) than there is using paid sites. It’s in fact a misconception that “advertised” sex workers (Not talking about the guys who are like, I need $20 for gas) are more likely to be put in dangerous situations.

So, when I read about people turning their nose up about deposits, and booking in advance, or whatever protocol an escort may have: Understand where that may come from to begin with.

The guy in Michigan had a RM profile as an escort and sent me a message about a month before his arrest. I recall his ad being a bit on the odd side, enough that I made the connection when he was caught. Supposedly he will be going to trial.

Oh wow. Sounds like you dodged a bullet. I haven’t really followed the story, but I’m just half curious as to what comes of it.

The closest thing to a horror story that I have is I went a masseurs apartment one time in a not so great part of Boston. Immediately upon meeting him I got a funny feeling. Like that feeling in the pit of your stomach that maybe this isn’t a good idea.

During the very ordinary massage, he told me about his cocaine addiction, his mental health issues, and he was discharged from the military for rape.

I was naked on his bed and figured the best thing for me to do is to listen and be understanding and hope my reactions don’t trigger anything.

Towards the end he started getting a little more aggressive, which I would typically like but in this case, I was not feeling submissive and I had my guard up. Well, he came and I don’t think I even finished. Blamed it on stress.

That was maybe 5-6 yrs ago.

We once went to visit a client in LA.

He was an ex military, 20 something, gorgeous and built blond. Well, to make a long story short he was on drugs and demanded back the 100 he paid us. We refused since we had done our job as best possible under difficult circumsicias. We ended up in a fist fight on the floor. He won and got the 100 back. We went immediately to the hospital to get one stitch on our lip and a medical report and then to Miss Blue to file a police report of assault and robbery. Thanks to the California Victim of violent crime law, a couple of years later after filling out many forms, etc, we received a check from the state of california for what would be in todays money about $20k. It was perhaps our most profitable out call!

Would you like to share it with us on here?

Is there a thread on naivety? If so, it would belong there. I ignored every warning sign.

Warning sign #1: Provider is at a hotel that makes Motel 6 look like the Hilton.

#2: He looked nothing like the guy in the pictures, still reasonably cute and I was thinking with the little brain, so I went for it.

#3: After a long make out session, he suddenly announced our time was up and offered me a glass of wine.

#4: Glass of wine from a stranger... ok, so I passed on this one thankfully. I shudder to think what else may have been in that glass.

After I left, he texted as though we were old friends and I told him it wasn’t awesome. He said he wanted to make it up to me, so...

#5: Only a moron would sign up for more paid time after a bad experience. Dang it!

#6: I booked two hours and paid up front.

#6B: He showed high and wreaking of pot. Told me he needed it to get in the mood.

#7: 45 minutes in he mentioned he had no condoms and sent me off to the store. When I got back... nobody was home and he texted telling me he wasn’t in the mood.

Furious, I left a review on RM and he started calling and threatening me like an old girlfriend. He said I had been followed home, he had video he was going to post to YouTube, etc...

May brain kicked back in and I burned my number on Google Voice and made a list of my poor decisions.

moral of the story: Always think with the brain between your ears with this hobby.

Your stories jogged my memory. Long ago, i went to a hotel to meet a masseur who appeared quite ruggedly handsome in his ad picture. The hotel was on the seedy side. The masseur was clearly on some sort of drugs and my session was very short due my disgust at his condition and the surroundings. Turns out the masseur was the marlboro man model!

I am tempted to say that I don't believe you. I worked with thousands of victims of violent crimes, most hurt far worse than you, and no similar checks appeared. But, I do have a vague memory that a program like that existed for a while.

Are you calling @Erna a liar?

I thought we wanted more escorts to participate in the forum, specially in this part.

Lesson has been learned...

Well...he happened to be traveling near me so we arranged an overnight for tonight. Required I pay a deposit (which I paid yesterday). He was to be here at 1pm. He just texted a bit ago saying he was at a local police station (arrested for hitting a guy he was seeing this morning who was trying to go too far?) and wants me to (a) meet him at the police station to bail him out or (b) cashapp him the $350 he is short to get out and then he’ll come here and meet me.

Sounds like I just lost my $400 deposit. I knew better...why did I send him the deposit?! Grrrrrrrr...

Do I have any recourse?

I dragged your post here because anything mentioning cops is a potential horror story!
