Apologies in advance if this is the wrong forum to post this question... With that said, I have a couple of buddies who coincidentally are both headed to Palm Springs in the next 5 days (1 for an interview, the other for the winter). Both are encouraging me to go as well, and as I'm working from home, it's doable. Needless to say, I'm seriously considering it. For those of you familiar with lodging in PS (or the adjacent towns), do you have any suggestions on lodging (it can be off the beaten path) that's inexpensive (for PS/adjacent communities) and clean... In advance, thanks, and again, apologies of this is the wrong forum.

If I may piggy back.... what is the risk of COVID in the city at the moment?

In contrast to what Pensant just posted, the most localized source of info I'm familiar with is the state-wide tool, which is only granular to the county level (https://covid19.ca.gov/state-dashboard/)

Riverside county is still in the most heavily impacted tier; 14 day average 5.2% positivity rate (statewide is 2.9%).
