I had to admit I get a kick everytime I come here daily for my morning or afternoon reading :). It has become a ritual, but as I read on, it never ceases to amaze me how some of us still get duped, double crossed and fooled by escorts, even in these day and age. Not that I brag that I had never been gypped in my life, but for Pete's sake, some us need to learn.

Take for example the latest review of Kyle from Tampa on 08/22 by a frustrated client :( who had given the escort a cell phone and laptop and expects the escort to pay him back. Hello, does the word Dumbo :p come to mind? Unless you have adopted the escort as one of your own, why in the world would you give something like that? It just makes sense to affirm that as long as there are people wanting to be fooled, there will be people waiting in the dark for you and will give you the privilege of being fooled.

What about the fact that Kyle had 9 other positive reviews? Kyle's response was also in complete sentences, always a good sign, and his point about speaking with other clients is pretty legit. Finally, it's very hard to believe anyone would buy an escort a cell phone after the first visit and a lap top after the second. By the time such a person reached their 50s, as the client claimed his age was, he'd most likely be living in a shack on the wrong side of the railroad tracks. Now I've never been with Kyle (there are a few excorts left in the US that I haven't tried), but that review sounds like an impotent client or a jealous escort.

Later.

You may be right, traveller ... it may not be legit. But I was struck by the fact that Kyle never denied any of the pertinent statements...never said he didn't get a cell phone or a laptop. If I were Kyle and it weren't true, I'd be squealing bloody murder.

Is Kyle a picaroon?

"A fool and his money are easily parted". I read the review this evening and it amazed me. All the other reviews are good, so, did Kyle spot a mug or is it a fake review? I don't know, but I also noticed that Kyle didn't deny having the articles bought for him. I for one would want to get to know an escort for a long time before I bought him a lap-top and cell-phone.

On two occasions I have lent two different escorts money. I have got to know them over a number of years. Both repaid me, one in cash and the other it was 'advance payment'. As a golden rule, whether I trust someone or not, I make a point of never lending what I couldn't afford to lose. It would have to be an exceptional (should be in capital letters) escort to get me to even consider lending him the money for a lap-top and mobile on my first two visits to him.

I'm in one of allusions moods again, oh dear! Remember where in The Three Sisters it almost causes a scandal when a short time acquaintance of the family gives one of the sisters a very expensive samovar and, if I remember correctly, she gives it back along with a lecture about how he doesn't know her well enough yet to give her gifts like that? Or does she take pity on the man and try to accept it gracefully? Which is the bigger mistake? And do enough young people see the dilemma at all?

The truth seems to lie within the first and last sentences of the review:

"My experience with Kyle from Tampa started out to be one that I thought was very good...." and

"So much for trying to be a nice guy and help out someone whom you thought cared."

Kyle played this man for a fool, most likly telling him how much he liked the client, all the while taking advantage of the generosity of the client. This client did spend at least one night with Kyle (not just an hour) and judgeing from the other reviews spent hours tearing his ass up. The client may have thought he was in love with Kyle and Kyle cared in return.

Are all of you out there so harden by your experiences in life that you are unable to see this happening to someone? This man has submitted 4 reviews, this being the only bad one. (HooBoy does check the handels of the reviewers and numbers of reviews submitted).

It is true that a fool and his money are soon parted. This man did act foolishly. But the real fool is anyone of you out there who thinks you could never be taken advantage of in a moment of weakness by a "pretty young lad". All it takes is to let your guard down once and someone out to con you.

Dandday,

Very well written, but my intent is not to lambast at our good friend and "put salt on his wound." Let the lesson the needed to be learned be made public and move on. Remember the age old reminder from your grade school teachers:

Once is enough

Twice is too much

Three is...

you know what I mean.
