Perhaps I've spent too much time in my home office, but I actually laughed out loud when I saw this ad posted in Chicago RM. This guy is the opposite of anyone I'd ever consider hiring,

Just sharing amusement. And no offense -- or judgment -- intended for those who might find this hot. Everyone has their someone, yes?

There is ample precedent, both historically and in other countries, where “Findom” is or was the norm between women and their male spouses. When I was a child, married women in Quebec could not open a bank account on their own but needed to have their husband’s name on it as well. He therefore effectively controlled her money. In some cultures even today, women have little or no say over money in a marital union. Why any person would willingly turn over their “wallet” to anyone, unless compelled by law, is beyond me. But as the OP says, To each their own.

FinDom is definitely a thing, but it's definitely not my thing and I wonder if one can really make an escorting career out of it. The one time I experienced it was a guy who actually was more dom and into sex but wanted me to buy him weed before meeting and then wanted more money on CashApp for small increments of time above what we had agreed to initially...I found the whole thing really obnoxious and not sexy or fun at all.

But maybe there are some people into that. I guess if you can find one super-rich dude willing to do that stuff than you might be able to make in an evening what a regular escort can make in a couple weeks. But in this economy?

FinDom is real. It's a form of Domination that covers multiple Masochistic interests, especially loss of control and humiliation. If you don't understand it, be grateful that your life experiences haven't led you to it because it frequently can become quite destructive. Here's an article that discusses one of the more well know FinDominatrixes, Goddess Haven: https://www.psychologytoday.com/us/blog/in-excess/201612/the-psychology-financial-dominatrixes

“Sometimes those who are charged with a great deal of control at work, at home or in their community may see this as an exciting way to relinquish control of one area of their lives. Or it could be the thrill of humiliation and ridicule. Just as some people associate praise and adoration with sexual arousal, others have an erotic script that is dominated by emotions that are traditionally viewed as negative. Being humiliated can be a turn-on, as it forces you to be vulnerable…A sexual fetish need not entail sexual activity in the traditional sense. Sex gives us a high or a pleasure rush and so too can financial domination/submission. I would leave it up to each pay pig to determine whether or not s/he considers this fetish sexual in nature…Having a woman more powerful than you, seductive and manipulative enough to get into your mind to make you WANT to willingly hand over your money… Maybe their wives are boring and don't offer much, maybe their wives are submissive and they just want the role switched. There's a different reason for every client."
