Recently, a visiting (Boston) provider quoted me 400 for an hour. He looked good and had good RM reviews but there were none on Daddy's and limited discussion here. Soon after a new guy with no record (no reviews, no discussion, new ad) quoted 300. If the first has a special niche and it works good for him but I'm not going there. The second is too much on a dare, he'd have to have good reports.

Boston isn't a cheap city but hotel rates are presently way down. There are good providers in the area who charge less and offer what I'll call frequent flyer rates. (Hush!)

Does anyone mind reporting rates quoted and the locations? Thanks

I'd say $400 an hour is way above normal and not really a reasonable quote even for experienced escorts. Maybe some famous porn stars can try to charge that but I would say that is an unreasonably high rate pretty much anywhere in America.

$300 an hour is more reasonable especially in larger cities. I travelled to Boston a couple years ago and ended up not hiring because I thought the quoted prices there were a bit too high. It was only soon after I had started this hobby and I was more used to Denver quotes which is typically $220-250 or so, sometimes even a bit lower.

My experience has been:

LA, NYC, Las Vegas and Chicago (and probably other large cities): $300 an hour is common (though you can sometimes find great guys that charge less).

Denver, Seattle and Dallas (and probably other medium to large cities): $250 an hour is more common (though you do see guys that will charge both a bit more or a bit less).

San Francisco actually had the most variation. I ended up seeing two guys on a trip there a couple years ago..one was $200 an hour and the other was $300. Interestingly the $200 guy actually had done a lot of porn and the $300 guy was a relative newbie. When I was putting my feelers out there I got quite a lot of variation of quoted hourly prices, so I honestly can't say I got a good picture of the average price in SF. It seemed like it was either low end or high end...for some reason not much in the middle.

Hope that helps.

Which one was the better experience for you?

Rates can vary greatly in all markets. It frequently comes down to what the traffic will bear. New escorts, in particular, often have little idea of what is the market rate in their location thus they may offer a very high rate. If they get it that's great for them. If they don't and they what to be successful as an escort they lower their rate. When I first stated hiring in 2002 the hourly rates, in the L.A. area, were somewhere between $200 and $250 with discounts for multiple hours. I usually expected to pay between $400 and $500 for a three hour get together which included lunch or dinner. The hourly rates slowly increased to between $250 and $300 with lots of guy available at the lower rate. At that time I was generally paying $500 for the three hours with a meal included. Currently I find that most escorts here are asking $300 and hour and $600 to $700 for the three hour gig. As both escort fees and my age have increased I am finding that I'm hiring less and less. Oh well that's life which includes both fee and age inflation

This is definitely true for new guys. I contacted a new guy in Denver who started advertising recently and said he wanted to charge $300. I declined and he asked why so I told him that I though $300 was a high rate, pointing out that many experienced escorts in town charge $250 pretty regularly. Interestingly, he said that he was contacted by another escort when he posted his ad and that escort told him $300 was standard in Denver. I told him that was incorrect as I had been with the majority of the escorts that advertise in Denver and I only knew of 2 that ask for $300. Eventually we got to talking more and I ended up agreeing to meet for $300, but he ended up flaking out (said he got nervous because it was his first time escorting). Felt bad for the kid, but also think I might've dodged a bullet because $300 is a lot for someone who might be too nervous to perform well.

Kinda wonder if there are some like purposely bad advise going around with some escorts to keep the competition down.
