I've only been on one gay cruise and that was an Alaska cruise. It was a lot of fun but I noticed for Alaska cruises I think mostly bear-type gays and their admirers go. I'd say in the cruise I went to it was at least 60% bears.

Back 13-14 years ago I remember RSVP chartered the Queen Mary transatlantic crossing and I wish I had gone on it. I recall there were some pretty good last-minute sales.

Supposedly that RSVP Queen Mary voyage almost bankrupted the company, because they couldn't fill the whole ship. So, Atlantis bought out RSVP. While Atlantis and RSVP have maintained different brands, they are the same company.

I've been on 3 RSVP cruises. They were great. I would pick an all-gay cruise over an integrated cruise any day. I don't mind paying the higher prices, because the entertainment and guys on board are worth it! The only reason I don't do more gay cruises is the time of year or ports of call aren't to my liking on some of the itineraries.

I truly wish there was an all men, Gay cruise. The extra effort to include the ladies really hampers the logistics. Half of the public toilets are reserved for about two dozen guests, while thousands of men wait to share the other half. Hundreds of men want to be naked in the spa, sauna, or steam room, but one lady objects so we got to keep it covered. Haven't been on Vacaya, but the ads look to promote a lot more female travels. For that reason alone, I will stick with RSVP or Atlantis. But please, someone let us know if I'm mistaken about Vacaya.

Seems odd because the last Atlantis cruise I went on (Jan 2020) the toilets in the ship were gender neutral, so you always had toilets available.

Also, out of 5500 people, less than 50 were women and the dick deck was all men, so IDK what the fear about women on a gay cruise is all about, it's not an issue.

I agree.

To ban women is a) a bad PR move in this day and age and b) a archaic throwback to gay men thinking they can't have fun with women around.

Bottom line, Atlantis/RSVP is hanging on by a thread at this point. The whole cruise industry remains in huge trouble.

They played the game of avoiding US taxation for decades, registering in international waters and then lost big when bailouts were denied.

Agree with you on restrooms. Couldn't the ladies go back to their rooms??

Gender neutral restrooms are the way to go.

Gender neutral restrooms are the way to go.

RSVP had gender neutral public restrooms in 2015. Then in 2016, the gender neutral signs were up for only a day before being taken down, and there were repeated announcements for men not to use the ladies room. It was still that way in 2019. So, some high profile female raised a fuss about having to share a gender neutral space, and RSVP caved.

Apologies at the outset if this is the wrong place for this discussion…

Who here has had a positive experience on an Atlantis cruise? Who here has had a disappointing experience on an Atlantis cruise? Is it worth it? Is there any way to get around paying the kings ransom that the website shows it costs?

I’ve thought about engaging an escort to accompany me for an Atlantis cruise, but the cost is so very expensive, particularly given that I would also have to compensate the provider and cover everything for him. Of course there’s the option of any run-of-the-mill cruise, but the Atlantis cruise has always held a certain appeal to me for obvious reasons.

What say you?

I had a Blast.... I went in 2019... it’s a floating circuit party, but you can make it whatever you wanna make it.

I went on VACAYA's inoguluar cruise and had a blast. I the a split second of me in leather in one of the promotional videos. Entertainment was great, atmosphere was fun while also laid back, lots of different types of men to enjoy the company of. I'd go again

Anyone who has been to Atlantis cruise...how does the food option works? I am talking about the one that are covered in the amount not the specialty ones. Do you jus go anytime of the day and get as much as food you want?

The ship will have a buffet on the top deck open for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and midnight snacks.  Here you can get as much food as you want.

The Main dining room will be open every night, just show up and be seated with those who arrive at the same time.  The Main dining room might also be open for Breakfast, and is usually open for Lunch only on Sea Days.  You're welcome to order multiple entrees or appetizers in the Main dining room.  Food is usually a better quality, or at least better presentation, in the Main dining room than the buffet
