Do they have kingsize beds in cruiseship cabins?

And I don’t know how long the cruise lasts but why “2 escorts”? Surely those lusty young men you’ve entertained at home would be very willing to accompany you?

FWIW several European governments have advised citizens against all cruises this year, citing Covid19 risks.

The vaca being referenced here is not an Atlantis cruise but rather a week (Nov 28-Dec 05) at an Atlantis - hosted resort in Punta Cana.....

Before worrying about king beds, I would wonder if this resort is really as mediocre (3* at best) as it looks.

Club Med did / does have some allure / appeal but they also always have had some cookie-cutter aspects woven into their formula....

My parents booked us into Club Meds in exotic locations a couple times for family vacations....our experimenting with Club Med stays ended pretty quickly.

Many cruise ship cabins have two single beds which are pushed together to form a king. I suppose some suites would have regular king size beds too.

Yes indeed....staterooms on cruise lines....when the stateroom is large enough for 2 twin beds, at the passenger’s request, ship staff will connect them together to make 1 king....(at no Xtra charge)

Otherwise, while some cruise lines do indeed offer actual king-size among their options / choices, more commonly queen-size is the largest on offer....

Not always but among the few people I know that own their own private skiff, rowboat or dinghy - they often have king-size in the cabins....similar to the comforts enjoyed in their terra firma residence(s).

I've done a few Atlantis/RSVP trips. Not my scene. Not my style.

The other issue already mentioned are the ridiculously inflated prices for what is an, at best, mid-level resort in Punta Cana. I've never been to a Club Med that wowed me. They're all in need of repair and the service standard is usually kinda meh.

I'd have liked to see Atlantis spend some money and take over the new Hyatt Zilara property in Cap Cana. While it was not quite finished when I went last year around Thanksgiving, it looked like it was going to be a real stunner when finished.

Unfortunately, from a business perspective that doesn’t make sense for Atlantis.

Atlantis has to draw in the poor young crowd in order to draw in the rich old crowd.

And the poor young crowd just can’t afford a really nice resort.

Trust me, I’ve been on an Atlantis high-end luxury cruise.

It wasn’t pretty and they never did it again.

Absolutely correct mister. I'm sure they operate at slim profit margins to begin with.

Of all the 'gay' travel operators, I prefer R Family Vacations. The owners are great people and the itens are actually interesting.
