I've had luck. Are you aware of the the "Pro" section of Adam4Adam? A lot of the "masseurs" on there are often escorts though they can't advertise as such. In Denver, there have been definitely fewer advertising on there, but there is some overlap between A4A and Rent.men and a few guys that only advertise on A4A. I would just say you are interested in a massage and try to get their phone number so you can text off the app.

Based in New York, and have used to pro section a few times. At the risk of generalizing, I find it a bit sketchier and less reliable than RM. I'd say my experience ran as follows: about 1/3 did what they advertised and were good. 1/3 did not quite match their pics or backed away from some of the things they said they did (ie, kissing, bottoming, etc.) but I muddled through, and 1/3 were scams (nothing like their pics, tried to get money up front, seemed high or threatening or both, etc.). So, use more than your usual caution

The guy I met from A4A became my regular for almost 4 years before graduating NYU and leaving for the west coast. Tall, blonde, ballet dancer and intelligent to boot. Truly boardroom to bedroom type of guy

Up to last year I had some success on A4A both as a client and provider. But I think they've cracked down on things lately and I think it now leans more towards an older crowd that's not looking for that and honestly can be pretty rude about it. Maybe it's my city but I don't think it's a viable platform for escorts anymore.

 

Yeah, the ads have dropped considerably in Denver as well even from just a year ago. I am not sure if there has been any kind of crackdown. I think honestly it's just their new redesign is terrible and many many people ditched Adam4Adam for the hookup aps like Grindr and Scruff.

My experience in Phoenix with A4A is the same as @keroscenefire in Denver: the number of ads have dropped by a third. I think the redesign and the weird search functionality has driven guy away. I did find a couple of gems through A4A, though.

I met two outstanding guys on A4A in Houston that I saw multiple times each and even brought together for a 3-way once. I’ve watched A4A in Atlanta and not seen anyone I’d be interested in hiring. I don’t know why the difference.

The redesigned site is such a piece of garbage that I only log in when I get a warning that my account will be deleted if I don’t show activity. From an escort perspective, even 10 years ago when it was more popular, the demographic of the ‘pros’ felt similar to what you’d find on backpage, if that means anything to you.

My experience is that it varies widely from a poor therapeutic massage to one guy who wanted to be a fisting bottom. I always use the approach of “These are the sorts of things I’ve enjoyed in the past.... do you think we are a good match”

I’m sure part of it is geography, but I find, for the most part, the quality of pros on A4A (as well as Friendboy and Mintboys) to be lacking. Lots of rough trade and guys who would never make it on RM.
