I'm curious guys: how many of you follow-up with a brief message to guys who've viewed your ad. If you do; have you found it made a difference in client relations, or no difference whatsoever.

I guess I'm curious to hear what others do (I thank the guys for checking out my page, and let them know if I can be of assistance in the future to feel free and contact me).

I realize I’m not the audience you want, but I want share my thoughts as a client. I love when I get a shout out for looking at someone’s profile. Often, we start a conversation. A few times those conversations have led to dates. That little Thank You really works for me!

Thanks for sharing! I've always figured if they took the time to look at my profile, I should at least thank them for checking it out.

I figure if he's viewed my ad, he's already well aware of my services. Besides, I'm not interested in a prospective client I have to cajole through the process.

You have a well-developed business model where I can see how that wouldn't be an efficient use of your resources. For some reason, I tend to get quite a few first-timers, and it seems to help them get more comfortable overall. Thanks for your feedback. Cheers!

I think it's a little bit creepy to reach out to someone who has just looked at your ad. I look at a lot of ads, but that doesn't mean I contact most of them.

Maybe it's just me, but if you reach out to me this way, you might get feedback that is more honest and less polite than you want. I might tell you exactly why I didn't respond to the ad, and it might not be flattering.

Meh, I’d have to differ on this one. What’s creepy about sending a response to someone else’s Profile online? It’s not as if they sent a personal letter in the mail complete with a photo...as many insurance and retail companies do when you request a quote lol.

As far as me: I do it “sometimes”. If they have a client profile picture posted, I’m more inclined to do so. And those can often turn into appointments. Usually if I need to expand or I just have extra time on my hands

At the same time, as @Kevin Slater said, sometimes I rather let them reach out to me. Not to mention, we get dozens of people looking at our profile per day, and it just reminds me too much of the 9 to 5 job I used to have where I’d have to call “leads” all day long. I just don’t have the capacity or staff on hand to do that all day, everyday.

I'm a client but I gotta tell ya, that follow-up tactic works really well for some of us. It got me into an overnight session really quick a few months ago. I checked out his profile, moved on to looking at other options, got his message and started chatting... couple hours later we were hanging out at a hotel for the night. He got $1500 out of me from that follow-up message, with little effort.

Some clients don't like to be bothered with it. Some of us respond well to the attention. :)

I’ll also be up front and say I’m not currently booking and therefore didn’t reach out yet. So many escorts think because you’re on RM you’re looking for now(!) but that’s simply not my personality type or perferred approach. I’ve had more than one guy get pissy with me for saying I’m not booking now. If you reach out to me, expect I’ll answer honestly. Like I expect you to answer honestly if I reach out to you. Escorts shouldn’t get upset for a response they don’t like anymore than we clients should.

I have to agree, some of the best experiences I've had was because the provider messaged me after I viewed their page. I probably wouldn't have booked with them otherwise, but now I'm booking them whenever they come to town.

Same here - I have guys who messaged me that I otherwise would not have met.

It captures my attention and gets me interested Also, frequently I receive no response to texts I send to guys (stating a definitive interest in meeting with a proposed date and time) and sitting around waiting for days sucks. If someone messages me I know they are interested.

Totally agree. If I were on the fence and you reached out to me, that might just be the spark needed to get things started. At the very least, you would seem more approachable to me. I also feel that it signifies you are interested in me as a potential client.

I acknowledge you might have a few people out there that would get offended by it, but why the fuck would they leave profile visibility on if that were the case? They could simply turn it off and never have to worry about it.

This isn't related to an ad, but I mentioned before (in the "from escort to hook-up" thread) that a guy I kept checking out at the bar came over to chat with me. I didn't (and wouldn't have) start a conversation with him because he was with someone and he was out of my league. We chatted for a while and it turned out he was an escort, and we met quite a few times, both that night and later.

I'm glad you enjoyed him being proactive.

I can't find the thread but last time we talked about it the overwhelming majority of potential clients got offended by someone contacting them because they clicked on his ad.

I'll save this thread on my favorites.

I would. I find it too aggressive and a sign of desperation from an escort if I just CLICKED ONCE on his ad. Last week I got approached after submitting a review for an escort. Another escort, whose ad I hadn't even seen, sent me a completely unsolicited message that I answered just out of politeness but in just a couple exchanges I made it clear I was absolutely not interested in him.

HOWEVER, big however, @JTtorretto made a good point! There is a little group of escorts that I haven't hired yet but I FREQUENTLY WATCH as I keep them in my buddy-list feed. Since they could see how many times I have visited their profiles, I wouldn't mind a message from them at all, would actually feel flattered and perhaps it would increase the chances for us to meet.

One note (and I don't know if this is my own particular quirk), but if someone reaches out to me after I've viewed their ad, we have a polite exchange, and then later on if I view their ad again and they reach out to me *with the exact same message they did the first time* - to me, that's offputting. I feel like I'm getting junk mail. If you're going to respond to a view, keep track of who you've responded to.

When anyone reaches out to me on Telegram I always reply. Depending on how the conversation goes, it may move to future discussions about getting together, likes, etc. If it's a daily, "hi cutie" with no substance to the conversation, it's most likely someone who is looking for constant small talk which I politely disengage from.

The people have spoken... must be that damn Canadian polite trait I've accidentally picked up...

So moral of the story is: who’s going to make the first move? Lol.

This goes beyond escorting, and into personal life. Similar to game at a bar or bathhouse. Do you approach the guy who looks at you, or wait til he comes up to you?

I have had some amazing meets with guys who looked at me, but didn’t make the first move. In fact, in “real life” pickups...the guy who looks at you in a certain way, is the guy who you should make the first move on lol. A lot of guys are either shy, or don’t like rejection. So occasionally I’ll put myself on the line and approach. At the same time, most of my encounters happen when people contact me first. I have an issue where I meet guys in public, they seem soooo talkative and like there’s a vibe going, and turns out, they have a girlfriend ?

If a guy doesn’t look at you, just keep it moving...

I will look at a profile if it is someone who has been to my small city before, I like to hope that they will stop here again. Without opening the profile I can't see travel dates.

Also sometimes I hit the rentman or review of the day as I start to scroll.
