Going back to PM people on here to catch up with massage experiences that may or may not have transpired, I get this message ALOT. Does this mean I've been blocked by these individuals? With some I can see they haven't been on here in ages, so a new PM would be a waste, but there are others that still contribute regularly that I can no longer send a message to.

I think it's just a privacy setting the user has selected. On your account page, there are privacy settings, and one of them allows you to choose exactly who can view your profile details. Choices are all visitors, members only, people you follow, and no one. There's another setting for who can start a conversation with you. Those choices are members only, people you follow, and no one.
