On Sunday, I received a note that my team was to work from home on Monday. At 9:00 a.m. my boss had a call with her direct six direct reports. As folks were still dialing in, I shared that I had already uncovered a problem with the work from home arrangement. She was concerned as replied, "Oh, oh. What is it?"

The team laughed out loud when I replied that the coffee maker was too close and I was already on my fourth cup of coffee compared to my limit of one cup a day.

Today we were comparing what we had for afternoon snacks (guacamole for me.)

Before going to full-time remote work I worked remote two days per week. While both of the cats have very loud meows, Linus is more vocal than Lucien and my colleagues are accustomed to Linus speaking up. Yesterday, someone asked me my opinion and, almost on cue, Linus let out a very loud and aggressive meow. We all laughed and the call moved forward. In the meeting miunutes, the project manager indicated that Linus attended the call and joined the majority in not approving of the recommended solution.

On this morning's call, someone decided that we should also do video so that we would feel more like a team. I looked down at my t-shirt and realized it was not "office appropriate" and had to do a quick change before turning on the camera.

I just want to know if you went biz casual up top, but remained pants-free below ;)

i guess one could do that, provided a naked boy does not prance behind you and blow your cover up. Although i had a guy once suck me off while i was playing piano and trying to be focussed.

I am crazy bored.

Yesterday I made of game of following twitter links to the most sexually perverse and twisted places I could find. There are a bunch of sick fucks out there.

Yellow pine pollen has turned my skull into a solid block of concrete and all masturbation has ground to a halt.

I am out of Milanos.

Other than that all is well.

I've worked from my home since 1997. It justifies a FAST Internet connection and the occasional afternoon delight and frequent 3 PM happy hours. I wouldn't ever want to return to an office environment.

No, I don't put pants on to appear on video chats, but I do take the posters down from behind my desk chair.

I worked online from home from 2002 until I retired in 2018. The downside was that I missed the live interaction with colleagues. The upside was that I never had to shower beforehand.

Hmm. Go figure. I guess to each his own.

I was an escort from 2000 to 2018 or so. It often involved working from home.

The upside was the live interaction. The other upside was that I always had to shower afterward. :p

I've watched way more TV news than usual. And it's mostly the same faces I am used to seeing on a studio set. So it is interesting seeing what I assume is their office, their book shelf, their decorating taste. And they don't look as made up. Some of that is the quality of video. But I assume some of it is they just don't have make up artists.

For me, there's actually something mildly comforting about it all. The pictures are hardly normal. But everybody is getting by.

Read a couple articles on how many people are using the foster-pet services to get a roommate at least for the duration. Foster pet services usually save from high-kill pounds and they have both dogs and cats. Also many shelters are reducing staff and need fosters for the duration. Great idea for temporary company.

Come to think of it, they've closed all the campuses and dorms.

Is there a foster college athlete service?

I have heard, but cannot confirm, when you foster a pet, you won't be responsible for vet bills.
