Recently through a buddy who hires as well, I was recommended an escort who was visiting town that he has been seeing for a few years. The catch was that he didn’t advertise (yeah I know) and all I had were body pics to go off of. He raves so much about him, so one (horny) night I took the plunge and was glad I did. Super masculine, attractive and probably the most unassuming guy I’ve met doing this. He only meets through the recommendation of his regulars. I told him he definitely missing out, especially in NYC.

That lead me to wonder, how many of us here have or see guys that are smoking hot but refrain from advertising?

Not me. Apart from this forum, my network of people that I discuss escorting with is one guy, and our tastes in guys are very different. I have taken home a few dancers from the stripper boy bar who never advertised, and once met up with a guy I was chatting with on gay.com who turned out to be an escort, but other than that, if they're not advertising, I've got no way of finding them.

I have a semi-regular from San Diego who I found on RM originally but does not keep an ad up there, has a prof day job so needs to be careful. Semi-regular b/c we live on opposite coasts, maybe see him 2X/year. I also have another regular I met on GRINDR who I see monthly or so.

I knew 2 such guys and dated each for several years. Both were as @ezlvr described his guy - masculine, handsome with ripped, muscled bodies, personable and terrific in bed.

The first guy was dark (Italian/Spanish mix). In his early 30s, he had a tremendous physique - the most symmetrical body I’ve ever seen: V-shaped torso, tight waist, perfect pecs, 8pack abs. I met him at a group session a friend had organised, and as he was a skilled cocksucker I made sure to get his phone number. Tho he was very masculine (str8 acting, as he put it), he turned out to be an eager bottom provided he was first dominated. Further dates revealed how he loved being tied up and fucked, sucking all the cocks at a party and swallowing loads etc. He had a big cock himself but rarely climaxed; he became especially enlarged when used by a group of men. He never advertised and only took referrals. Strangely, tho he always wanted discretion, he didn’t mind being photographed when he was naked with an erect cock in his mouth or his ass.

The second guy was a blond Englishman, early 20s, a dedicated gym-goer from his early teens. I met him in an AOL chat-room; we shared an underwear fetish. I offered to buy him some sexy new briefs and he came over for a date. Tho he wasn’t into older men, he loved to get fucked hard, preferably for a long time and in various positions. We agreed on a regular rate for regular dates, and after I’d pounded him for long enough, he was happy to suck my cock to completion. I was fascinated to discover how readily he swallowed my load and licked my cock clean. He confessed to a strange sexual desire: as my cum hit the back of his throat, he would always climax without even touching his own cock. He only had an ad on Rentboy for a month or so, and he took it down once he had a small group of regular clients. He also was not camera-shy.

I get frustrated by this

I had a regular who became very popular and successful . Told me he was no longer advertising, he'd email when planning a visit to my area. He did... once. But I dont think the strategy worked for him... I learned later that he'd started advertising again... during a period when I wasnt watching ads, seeking new connections. So I missed several trips to my area, ultimately never saw him again.

When someone stops advertising without announcing "Im still available to you, just not advertising"... I felt that the respectful thing for me was to assume they have moved on. It would be intrusive to contact them. Yet, twice, I found out too late that my assumption was wrong. When those experiences emboldened me, and I texted others who stopped advertising.... nothing, crickets.

So... rentguys who dont advertise never really worked out for me.

One of my regulars advertised on Backpage for a little then stopped. He continued seeing me as a client then eventually moved for work. Recently he contacted me that he's moving back in the spring so I'm looking forward to booking him regularly again.

Staying on topic, a person I've come in contact with on here runs his own independent business with "straight" muscular providers across the U.S. who don't advertise online. I've been tempted to try since many of the providers are visually, amazing studs. But there's certain personal rules I have when it come to hiring providers that I would have to break if I was to hire from this independent business. It's very tempting though.

I don’t advertise ??‍♂️ Though these stories inspire me to take the plunge for a few days and see who clicks, but can’t really maintain an advert because of day job/life.

That said escorting is one arena of business where one could potentially make more by not advertising. I guess because of stigma and male instincts towards especially having what’s not available, there’s a whole world of Instagram solicitation and connection. Many of the popular guys receive offers in the thousands($€) for a date and can pick and choose how to engage it accordingly. Even when I had just a few thousand followers, I met at least a handful of clients via my private messages. Being that most of the men here are longtime connoisseurs of a particular well-working model, I don’t imagine paying exponential fees for someone just because they’re cute on Instagram sounds sensible let alone appealing. But there is definitely an emerging new mode and it’s much bigger money. Even a small few of guys I know who do advertise on Rentmen but have very popular Instagram and word of mouth businesses are charging a grand or more for just a session. So while I’ve read threads on here bemoaning the potential for “amateurs” on Grindr or even Seeking to drag market prices lower, there is a great potential that the possibilities for very luxury escorting connection via social media could alternatively drag prices higher (and most of the guys I’ve seen reviewed here charging at least 500+/ hour I know have fairly popular social media as well). Whether the Rentmen model stays as a stable middle, we’ll see, but I’m sure it shall for at least a while.

I met a guy through a referral from a friend. He doesn't advertise and is "straight" but we have complimentary fetishes that work for a mutually enjoyable session. He's a few hours away by plane so we see each other a few times a year. He is extremely well built and very handsome. I totally lucked into this but we are a personality match and have become bros who text often.

I’d love to hear more about this business. Do you mind sharing more details?

I'm not going to get into it with names etc.

Just a member on here had sent me a private message that lead to an email and eventually a text conversation. I'm sure I'm not the only member on here who was contacted about the same service. It's pretty much a person that runs his own provider service. The providers are all built, muscular, straight guys. Some with families looking for extra income, fell on hard times, etc....various scenarios. They're spread out across the U.S. but most are in the north east, mid west, and some parts of the south (Florida).

The whole selling point to me when I was approached about this is the providers are straight guys. You get added to an email mailing list with upcoming travel schedules, pics (no frontal nudes) etc. My main concern (as with anyone with common sense) is this isn't operated through a site like Rentmen. It's all done through one guy via texts and emails. The head of this operation insists that you book multi hours instead of 1 hour sessions so that you and the provider can "feel each other out."

You're pretty much going into a situation not knowing what the provider offers. Nothing is concrete or guaranteed as to what will happen during that session. No past references to go off of. Muscle worship is probably the only thing guaranteed just based off the photos, but past that it's unknown.

Now if you're wealthy with disposable income I guess it maybe worth the risk to try, but IMO there's too many red flags. When I was in the DMV (D.C., Maryland, Virginia) area in the summer I was close to booking one of the guys through this service but again the concerns I had before popped up so I held off.

Yeah. He contacted me too. But he was too pushy with the guys he was trying to “promote”. I’m not interested in the “bro/ muscle/straight/frat” type of guys he is promoting. Too much of a stereotype. A turn off for me. Prefer real regular guys. Not a stereotype.

I met a guy on SA who does this as a hobby. He's a model in grad school. His girl has needs, which works well for me because he has the largest thickest dick I've ever seen. We see each other a few times a year when he's in town with a free weekend.

A couple years ago I was scheduled with a guy from the agent I think @DMICS and @7829V are talking about. He cancelled on me a couple days before a schedule session because his guy had another bigger opportunity. He said he'd reschedule and never followed up. I get an email occasionally but haven't seen a guy I'd be into come to LA in a long time.

Yeah the last email blast I got was in late February. In it the agent mentioned having 3 guys currently in Cali. 2 in SoCal (San Diego, Compton) and 1 in NorCal (Bay Area).

I don't remember getting that one. It's been a hectic year though, so maybe I missed it.
