Anyone having a problem with Google Voice?

I seem to not be receiving text messages through Google Voice from some people but it works ok for others. I typically use my GV number when contacting providers. Anyone else had this problem?

It can be hit and miss, particularly when you deal with automated systems - Ive had a few places identify and reject my google voice number as a ‘virtual number’. They wont use it to text me updates on deliveries or verification codes on GV. ??‍♂️
