Are websites like, seeking arrangment, affecting escorting rates?

Im just wondering if the infux of non pro competition has had any effect on escort rates?

Ive hired many times in my life, and appreciate a good escort. I also believe in you get what you pay for, but having said that, two of my greatest finds in my life have been in just the last year through seeking arrangement.

One of which is a young jock couple in college. One is a water polo player, the other a wrestler. I meet them at their place, they have dinner ready, we eat, cuddle on the couch for some tv, head to the bedroom where they give me a massage followed by some of the best play of my life, and they are always open to try new things. They found out a while ago that i hadnt actually tried many positions. The next time i met them, they had printed up a binder with all the different positions in them, top, bottom, 3 way, and oral, along with pictures and a description. Once done, they have me rate each out of 10 points and mark it down for future reference. When i went to pay him and take him home, he told me i payed him way too much. He was hoping for 80. and was happy with 100. We actually argued for a bit and he settled on taking 200.

Both of these experiances rate in my top 10, actually top 3 for the couple. And yet they are a fraction of the cost of a pro with a better experience than many pros.

Ive also had guys on there who want a new laptop or car or 1000 bucks to meet, but I've found plenty of really quality guys who seem more interested in a connection over a big payout. In fact, in the latters case, he was worried a large amount would ruin the experience for me.

Its just got me wondering, with more amateur sites like that becoming available, has it impacted the business and pricing of professional escorts?

In Atlanta there are three RM pro’s I’ve had an interest in meeting in the last 2-3 months. I contacted each to set up a 2-hour meeting and each told me their rate was $300/hr. I thanked them for their time but declined.

During that period I’ve had many meets with buddies I met thru SA and I gave them $200 for whatever amount of time we spent together.

There is zero correlation between rate and enjoyment of a meeting. The only thing I pay extra for is razor-sharp professionalism. When I pay RM rates and don’t get that then it makes me more upset than it used to.

I tolerate much less bullshit from pro’s now because of the alternatives.

To answer your original question, I don’t think escorts set their rates with regard to what’s available on Seeking. They operate in a very different market.

There is zero correlation between rate and enjoyment of a meeting. The only thing I pay extra for is razor-sharp professionalism.....I tolerate much less bullshit from pro’s now because of the alternatives.

I so agree @Keith30309. Too many people equate price with quality. And there are many hot, enthusiastic amateurs.

Great story. Do you know if these guys have part time jobs? I met a guy via RM that he’s happy with 180-200 for overnights. The financial scale is different when you make minimum wage. For them 200 to have a good time even get paid for sleeping is just amazing. This guy is not a “pro escort” is just a very humble handsome guy trying to make ends meet.

It isn’t impossible to find what you “seek” on sites like that. I’d imagine it requires a lot more work, ghosting, and all around unprofessionalism. Not to say “Pros” don’t do this too. I feel RM and similar sites skip most of the BS and it’s clear what the “arrangement” will be prior to even exchanging a message.

As for rates, I feel there has always been varying rates in every market. The BIGGEST shift I have seen has been the way inegich people communicate with me. Instead of a well crafted sentence, I get intro messages of “Rate?” “Available?” And seemingly impersonal messages. I’d imagine this stems from Grindr and how people use quick messages to filter faster.

I advertise on many many sites so I get a influx of many different types of people looking for many different things. I have people contact me thinking that I was just a hook up until I pointed out to read The advertisement. And still made an appointment and they were just looking for a hook up. My point is this if people want something they will pay for it. And as for rates I've always been reasonable.
