Everyone has the right to their opinion. If we don't like it, we can choose to ignore them or not hire them as an escort, or not visit their website. But do we really need to call names and throw insults and threats? I know I'm not perfect either, and I'm not saying I am. But I'm saying this to myself too.

 

Probably the best little phrase on the internet is "IMHO" (In my humble opinion). Which is exactly as it's meant to be, a humble opinion. It doesn't have to be a sword or a threat to you just because you disagree.

 

We've all done it at one time or another, and we've all had it happen to us. I may be naive and over simple, but I still believe the Golden Rule.

 

Don't we have enough battles more important to fight? Must we waste our language and time on differences of opinion. There are real people out there dying every day from hatred, Must we create more?

 

Pardon me for being Polly anna-ish. I still like to believe the world can be a peaceful place. I have a lot of different views from others, but I enjoy listening to a counter point, no matter how irrational I think it may be. I may choose to never listen again to that person, but I'm not about to throw any more arrows.

 

Whether we admit it or not, bad words hurt us all. Let us express views and opinions and make choices wisely based on our own values, without pushing and shoving each other.

 

I really hate to see hate! anywhere.
