For background, I've hired masseurs before and occasionally that's turned into something more. However, looking at some of the add on rentmen and give the price I've paid for a lackluster massage has me tempted to dip my toes into hiring an escort.

I'm terribly nervous about it and really unsure how to approach talking to an escort about a session (cost, expectations, etc). I don't always like to have every detail planned out and I have a huge turn on for the spontaneity and seeing a guy be turned on enough by me to want to do things and them just going for it.

Sorry for the length of the message, just appreciate any pointers or best practices when it comes to this

Have you narrowed your choices on Rentmen, for example? Once you’re compiled a list, search the site for comments or reviews (there are hundreds, if not thousands). Then, post a 411 on the narrowed down list and seek input from members. Once you’ve got a good list, simply text your candidates and be clear about your interests (or fetishes). Don’t be embarrassed; most have probably heard it all and will appreciate your stated interests. Then inquire as to session rates. You‘ll no doubt narrow your choices to a handful and then follow your intuition.

As a recent newbie myself, I was very nervous communicating too much information for legal reasons. My takeaway is yes, be mindful of the language you use regarding compensation, but be specific about what type of experience you’re looking for. I was vague in language about “starting slow since I don’t get to play often” etc for my first meetup, and the encounter started off much more aggressive than I was expecting. (At the time, I assumed “boyfriend experience” meant no sex — now I understand BFE is a good shorthand for the kind of sex I enjoy.) You don’t have to provide a checklist or itinerary for the encounter, but make it really clear what activities you like and would enjoy if they end up happening.

Speak up and communicate during the encounter. During that first time experience, once I finally said it was not going like I hoped, the provider instantly changed his approach and I ended up having a really great time. (He also introduced me to this site as an indispensable tool for this hobby!)

some newbies may be hesitant to make a move or want to just talk out of nervousness.....talk for a few, then suggest a shoulder or back massage to break the ice, then trade places, then move it along.......don't run out of time!.......or ask the provider, ahead of time, to be the leader if you don't want to be.....smile, talk slowly, firm handshake, look him in the eyes, exude confidence.....
