I find the Super Big Gay cities like Barcelona and Sydney and Manhattan don't work all that well -- too much attitude, and there's always someone hotter just one click away on Grindr or Scruff. But I could hardly walk from so much hot sex after a few days in Morgantown, W. Virginia, or Denver, Colorado, or Eugene, Oregon (all on business), or overseas, e.g. Brisbane and Hobart in Australia. Some of these places (e.g. the last two!) are amazing places to visit as tourists, as well. That is to say, the second (or third) tier cities have a lot of hot men with fewer opportunities who seem eager to take me into their arms (mouths, booties, etc.). Note this was all true pre-Covid. All 4 have excellent sex clubs, bars that host naked parties, and saunas that are great fun for men of all ages. Guys in Europe are a lot more sex positive than men in the US. I never fail to find plenty of partners from mid 30s to late 50s. Haven't done any hiring there so I can't comment on the rent boy scene. On the Argentinian side you get close up spectacular views of individual falls. On the Brazilian side you get an overview of what the whole ensemble of falls looks like. I agree, I booked a package through a travel agent here when I did it in 2003, I forget how much it was, which included flights to and from BsAs, hotel (Sheraton I think) and transport and guide for three of us. You get a different perspective from the two sides, and as I remember, the grand perspective from the Brazilian side impressed me more. I wouldn't have missed either. We were based on the Argentine side and did a day trip to the Brazilian side. As I recall, that included a more-meat-than-you-could-eat lunch. I once spent 10 days in Berlin basically a sex vacation with a little sightseeing thrown in during the day light hours. I always find a hottie or three to have some fun with and you get a nice inexpensive mini vacation. They're usually really busy on holiday weekends and fill up fast and a lot of them have a variety of lodging/accommodations from primitive tent camping, small cabins, and even rooms with a private bath. Two I have enjoyed are The Dunes in Saugatuck MI that's basically an old motor lodge turned into a gay resort. The other is Roseland Resort in the hills of West Virginia. And no it's not as scary as it sounds it's actually quite nice and has a restaurant, bar with food (pizza and stuff), a pool bar that's really nice, and lots of trails for hiking. Didn,t Peru go into complete shutdown a few months ago. I remember some pitiful stories of Canadians and others caught up in the instant closure of the borders and being stuck in quarantine facilities. Don.t know if they ever got out. I think they did go into a complete shutdown back in March and so did a couple other countries. Peru got hit very hard with Covid and had a lot of restrictions I wouldn't recommend anyone going there (or any other country) for a long time.
