Below is a link originally posted elsewhere to the Gay Porn Awards show which aired last night, and hosted by Kathy Griffin.... The show is 2.5 hrs long BUT is totally enlightening and shows some of your favorite gay male porn stares in a different light.

 

While watching it, I was often sitting with my mouth open, not because I was horny or in lust, but because I was shocked....Shocked at how vapid and obnoxious

most of the winner and presenters were. I realize there were copious amounts of alcohol involved, and probably drugs, but many of ones I coveted on screen were just such major turn-offs in person. Many who represent as "TOP" on film were so effeminate in their speech, mannerisms and attire (many sporting gender fluid outfits) , it was hard to believe I was seeing the same person I lusted over on screen. And then, the behavior, like drunken frat boys, crude and distasteful for a televised awards show. It was obvious they didn't "give a fuck"...… (I also didn't guess one winner in the entire ceremony)

 

As for Kathy, whom I adore, her gay jokes mostly fell flat, although she seemed well received by the crowd....

 

It was an enlightening and eye opening 2.5 hours, fer shure, showing that everything ISNT always as it seems . ;)

I watched a bit just now. My observations (admittedly I jumped around because I didn't find it that interesting):

 

Kathy Griffin just seemed to be making up jokes on the spot based on porn studio names and titles. I guess they didn't pay her enough to actually spend time coming up with material in advance. Some of her jokes were funny, but most of it just fell flat.

 

I only watched the first few awards being presented, but I didn't notice any gender fluidity. What I did notice was Alex Mecum's floodpants (at least that's what they used to be disparagingly referred to). I guess this is in fashion now since I've recently been seeing some attractive men wearing pants that end a few inches above their ankles, but I don't get it.

 

Family Dick getting best "niche" studio? Even the nominees in that category left me perplexed, but Family Dick winning anything makes no sense unless you like your porn with mostly faked cum shots.

Well if you watch a bit more, you'll see Diego Sans with Veronica Lake hair, in a dress and heels, Boomer Banks is a ruffled ballgown, and Calvin Banks in a side-swept bob and lace tights. Plus many other "costumes" worthy of Billy Porter. Now I am not sure if many of the pornstars were putting on their effected effeminate personas, or if their on camera personas were the ones put on, but it was very disconcerting. No judgement, just observation. I watch porn for the fantasy of it, but pretty much, my fantasies were destroyed. (FYI, high-water pants are a thing and fashion)

Now, now Mr Nicholas.... If you were there, it would be required attire shirtless and jockstrap. But you are absolutely right, it did have a disjointed, circuslike feel.....

 

But what was more surprising was the conduct, and the effete affectation of the attendees. It appeared as though they were ALL bottoms...:eek::eek::eek:

I used the fast forward arrow to skim thru the entire thing. It will cut the view time in half and you will still get the highlights.

While I was in Spain I met quite a few performers from Tim Tales. So down to earth..friendly..polite and sexy. Lucio Saints invited me to one of his performances at Attack in Madrid where I met some of his friends and co-stars.. They showed me a great time (non sexual). I'm going back this Spring 2020 to meet up with a few more guys. I love to travel and meet all sorts of men.

welcome aboard..I almost always travel alone...I like getting up at 9a and going to bed at 10p...almost always 3-4 weeks at a time 3 times a years...always to London/Paris/Madrid.Barcelona...so yes...get in m;)y suitcase...

 

Well I'm retired, and a morning person, BUT I hate flying and am petrified… I did tons of travel in my younger years, but I understand just the mechanics of traveling these days is stressful... Add to that the FEAR of flying and you end up like me, "grounded"..... I hate doing ANYTHING alone, and all my friends now are either OLD or have health issues, so the only travel we do is to our doctors or the pharmacy :(

I don't mind seeing a hot guy in drag as long as he isn't in drag while filming scenes. (I don't like heavy make up on guys while filming, and I don't enjoy scenes where guys are wearing women's stockings.) There were plenty of guys wearing typical male attire, and many of them looked really hot in their well-fitting suits.

Diego San in his "Maude" MuMu and bejewelled heels and side swept flowing locks push the gender-bender as he chose to wear NO makeup and present facially as "male". He was still HOT, but I wanted to serve him tea rather than suck his cock... :p
