I've always wondered whether this line of work makes it difficult, if not impossible, for you maintain a long-term romantic relationship.

The most obvious problem would be finding a mate who tolerates your line of work. Outside of other escorts, could anyone really put up with it without being constantly jealous? Even though it's only "business", it still IS sex, no?

I also wonder if escorting full-time doesn't make you sick of sex -- like asking someone who works at McDonald's to have a Big Mac for dinner.

I does seem like it would make life more complicated. One guy I see regularly (in his 30's) told me that he & his partner have been together 10 years, but that it works because his partner is also an escort, and they "understood" each other. Obviously takes a lot more than that to keep a relationship together for a decade, but it's kinda cool.

My lover and I have been together for years now. We met before I began escorting, and although he took some getting used to the idea of me escorting full time, he's very understanding and supportive of it now. We've had a ceremony and everything. I even put wedding pictures on my website!
