RE: Will The Real Quinte, Please Stand Up!

Swallows (Is that from a Capistrano count or are you bragging about the depth or duration of your agile mouth?) - I for one would take any opportunity to slip and slide all over Q's manly bod and he all over mine. And with y'all paying for such a sight, I can certainly afford it!

22 - It is quite a human trait when confronted with tragedy. Gay men often take a shorter time to laugh at their own tragedies than others.

"I laugh that I may not cry." - Abraham Lincoln, when people complained about him joking in the White House while the civil war was going on

As a Daddy Bear, perhaps I might walk the gayly forward and wide, but would I fit on the narrow? Can you believe I am still gettiing calls on ads from last January? Not everyone wants a young gymbod, I guess, and there are so few of us zoftig types around for pay that I do hate to admit that I am still for free only, at least til next March.

Wrong Board

Youngblood and Keywest, if you guys are looking for a message board that features sober, mature discussion of the issues of the day then you are in the wrong place. This board is about trivial amusements and the people who provide them. Try the New York Times forums.

LAST EDITED ON Jul-28-00 AT 11:51AM (EST)[p]At the risk of repeating myself from a previous thread...

< When Sean’s around he’s pretty much everywhere, often like an ICU nurse slapping us around,

always an interesting read. >

I think this thread illustrates my point perfectly. Sean has the capacity to bring out the best and the worst in this board, and frequently does.

What intrigues me is the willingness for some to take Sean at the superficial level when there is clearly more to this package. I guess not every one appreciates sarcasm or has a sense of irony.

Pardon me, is my bias showing?

While I do look good in White Tampa (if I do say so myself) When I wear it my friends look at me and laugh and say "who do you think you're kidding" :)

I didn't take the messages of Youngblood and Key West as an indication of their disappointment in their search for sober mature discussion. Maybe I'm not reading between the lines very well, but the words posted didn't convey that sentiment to me. Nevertheless, I concur with your recommendation for one excellent site for sober mature discussion. Those seeking that fare exclusively have been well advised.

For the rest, thank god we haven't gotten too sophisticated for some trivial amusement on occasion. Life is short and laughter is good medicine.

:)

I know, S22 could not deal with my blunt truth and putting him in his place, that it was easier to to re-direct his original comment...

I waste my breath.

On the lighter side, I am glad you are in houston. You remain crown royal, in my books, and every Queen needs a King & "Escort".

:)

Swallow, just curious as to why you took my light hearted post about my trip back to NY as doing so at the deceased expense? I'm sorry but I don't see where I did that. Are you sitting on one of those bottles Quinte mentioned?

RE: Will The Real Quinte, Please Stand Up!

If the hat fits... although it strikes me as strange that that other "What's his name in Houston", notes that he has no memory of what he is accused of. That leaves me. Non?

Hmmm....

Besides, Bilbo and I are Houston's true blue blood. We do not "fight" nor do we "wrestle", and the only frolicking we do in mud, is of a different variety. :)

As to your "grading" my other post, I see the error, thank you. But Geez, is that the best you came up with? Unlike some, do you really think I sit to post at these boards armed with a dictionary and Grammar check? I give the users of these boards more credit, and sense enough to know that ONE "typo" out of several postings, does not equal an inability to write the Queen's English.

Life, my friend is much to short.
